Dynasty Rookie Stock Market – Week 6

Welcome back to another weekly segment of the dynasty rookie stock market. Week 6 of the NFL season left us with a desire for more. This rookie class showed out last weekend. I must say that I’m excited for the rest of this season to play out. The pure athleticism and football IQ these young rookies are showing is mind-boggling. Without further ado, let’s dive in!

Bucky Irving

Bucky Irving was my RB2 of this class pre-NFL combine. I’ll admit that the athletic testing numbers scared me off a little bit. I dropped him down to RB6 after the fact. But despite the poor Combine results, his talent has always shown on the college tape. Bucky Irving is a tough, physical runner inside and outside the tackles. He is crafty and twitchy and can see the field breakdown well. He also poses as a receiving threat out of the backfield. Introducing himself into the dynasty rookie stock market article for the first time, Mr. Bucky Irving! Yes, he probably should’ve been on here before Week 6, but this is his first time with a weekly fantasy finish as an RB1. This Tampa Bay Buccaneers backfield has been confusing at times, but with each passing week, it becomes clearer that Bucky Irving is taking over this backfield. Rachaad White just suffered a foot injury and could miss multiple weeks. Let’s see what Bucky Irving can do with this opportunity. Bucky Irving is my Dynasty RB37, which is a massive buy-low value. Send any Bucky Irving owner a late 2nd or early 3rd round pick and reap the benefits down the road.

Drake Maye

Congratulations on your first NFL start, Mr. Drake Maye. It wasn’t perfect by any means, but it gives New England Patriots fans something to look forward to. It was the first time since Week 2 that the New England Patriots scored more than 20 or more points in a game. A young quarterback, offensive line, and skill position group are a recipe for disaster. Drake Maye said hold up a second, completing 20 of 33 passes for 243 yards and three touchdowns. He also added 38 rushing yards. Not to mention, this was a start against the Houston Texans. The Houston Texans are a very aggressive and stingy defensive unit. Yes, Drake Maye threw two interceptions, but he showed he can be the franchise guy. Drake Maye currently sits at my dynasty QB18. A buy-low window has now opened. The New England Patriots will do everything to put talent around Drake Maye. He’s their guy, and they will not let him fail. I’d pay a mid-to-late 2025 first to acquire Drake Maye right now.

Tyrone Tracy

Another DNP by Devin Singletary, another big week from Tyrone Tracy. This was a player who I said would be a late-round gem in the 2024 draft. With his elite rushing profile, athletic testing at the NFL Combine, and receiving profile, he could make an impact sooner rather than later. Well, here we are. You still need to be patient; Devin Singletary signed a three-year deal this off-season. With each passing game, though, Tyrone Tracy’s involvement in the offense will grow. The biggest mover in my running back rankings this week, Tyrone Tracy is currently my dynasty RB32. This was a huge jump from RB47. I believe in the talent so much I’m sending away any second-round pick in future rookie drafts to acquire him. Buy now while you still can.ย
