As we gear up for the fantasy playoffs, do we believe these rookies can be a pivotal part of a championship roster? Some players from this class have shown that they belong in this league, they’ve shown that they have superstar potential, and they’ve shown that they are key pieces for dynasty rosters for years to come. Without further ado, let’s dive in!
Brock Bowers
I know you’re probably saying, “Stephen, it seems like we talk about this guy every week.” Well, that’s because I’m going to take every chance I get to talk about Brock Bowers. This dude is truly special and is changing the tight end landscape for years to come. Leading all rookie pass catchers in targets, catches, receptions, and receiving yards is not easy to do. He is a matchup nightmare for any defensive coordinator. Good luck trying to figure out how to take this guy out of games. He is the dynasty TE1. At this point, in tight end premium leagues, he should be discussed as a top 12 pick.ย
Jayden Daniels
We just watched the Washington Commanders go on a three-game skid against Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, and Dallas. Easily some of the worst football we’ve seen from Jayden Daniels all year, excluding the Dallas game. It was good to see him get back on track against Tennessee and lead the Commanders to a victory. The offensive rookie of the year race is tight. Can Jayden Daniels separate himself in these last few games of the year?
Bucky Irvingย
Don’t look now, but Bucky Irving is quickly taking over this Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ backfield. With back-to-back 30-point fantasy weeks, it’s time to dive into the usage. Yes, Rachaad White is still involved in this backfield, but he is doing nothing with his usage at this point. Bucky Irving has back-to-back weeks of 50-plus percent of the offensive snaps played. This has led to 37 carries, 240 rushing yards, two rushing touchdowns, nine receptions, and 97 receiving yards. Bucky Irving looks like the real deal. With more opportunities to come in this offense, he could be the steal of the draft.
Ladd McConkey
Ladd McConkey has been a consistent weapon for Justin Herbert all year. A wide receiver room with not many big names or proven production, Ladd McConkey has emerged as the go-to guy and is the WR1 on this Chargers team. Leading the team in targets, receptions, receiving yards, and plays of 20-plus yards. Ladd McConkey has emerged as a top-five receiver from this class, and the word is still out on Rome Odunze. Ladd is a top twenty dynasty wide receiver in my rankings.ย
