STRENGTHS
Klare is a very athletic, pass-catching tight end capable of earning volume targets at the next level. He has the full route tree and the ability to generate separation across the field. Klare is best from the slot but can widen in appropriate matchup situations. You can tell from watching his tape how loose and athletic he moves, and he has the speed to run past safeties on vertical routes and can adjust routes at a high rate of speed. Most impressively, he rarely leaves yards on the field because of his run-after-catch ability. As this past season went on, you could tell he improved his body control and fit accurately on lead pulls. Based on talent, Klare has a chance to inject life into an offense looking for mismatches.
WEAKNESSES
The first noticeable red flag with Klare is his ball security on his run after the catch. His hands and ball-tracking are below average, leading to drops, but he has been productive when given the opportunity. He improved as a run blocker during the season, but he can still be described only as “functional” and needs to get strong enough to sustain at the point. His hand placement as a run blocker also needs significant work, as well as his pass-blocking skills. Klare needs to identify throws and move faster in making adjustments for his quarterback. .

ATHLETIC TESTING
At the Combine, Klare measured 6’ 4 3/8” and 246 lbs. His arms measured 32 1/8” with a hand size of 9 1/8”. He chose not to participate in athletic testing at the NFL Combine. Klare finished with an NFL NextGen Stats composite score of 76, ranking him 5th amongst tight ends in the class and projecting him to be a plus NFL starter. Klare is a very intriguing prospect who has all the raw athletic tools to succeed at the next level with further development.

DRAFT ANALYSIS
Rapid Reaction to Draft Capital: Above-average
Rapid Reaction to Landing Spot: Average
Klare was selected with the 61st overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft by the Los Angeles Rams.
FANTASY INSIGHTS
I rank Klare as the 3rd tight end in this year’s tight end class for projected future Dynasty value; his landing spot for now is intriguing. The Rams already have a cluster of tight ends with Tyler Higbee, Colby Parkinson, Davis Allen, and last year’s second-round draftee, Terrance Ferguson. So for now and the future, Klare will compete for playing time, let alone targets for fantasy production. While the Rams do run 13 personnel (3 TE’s) 30.5% of the time, more than double that of any other team in the NFL, this is the one factor that will help him get on the field more in this crowded tight end room. Ferguson is also a player the Rams have talked highly of, so most likely he will be forming a future 1-2 punch with him.
Expect Klare to be taken now late in the 2nd round of the Dynasty Fantasy Football Rookie Draft, as he should still go after Eli Stowers. Klare has the potential to still be a very good Dynasty asset, but now his landing spot is decreasing his value, which could make him a better or smarter buy for a patient Dynasty manager looking at his potential outlook a year or two from now.
