He goes down as the seventh-leading rusher in Michigan football history. STRENGTHS
Compact-runner, who showed eye-popping production during his four-year collegiate career. Has a feel for lanes that will open, as he often shows patience as a runner. Absorbs contact and often sheds off would-be tacklers in one-on-one situations. Leans forward and finishes through contact, often earning himself extra yardage. Solid pass-catcher who earns a lot of yards after catch. Serviceable pass-blocker. Often challenges linebackers against blitz packages.
WEAKNESSES
Not the fastest guy in the field. Often gets caught from behind by a secondary defender in open space. Isn’t super elusive in the open field. Volume runner who saw who found production based on a large volume of carries (especially inside the red zone). Below average acceleration once the ball gets in his hands.
ATHLETIC TESTING
At the NFL combine, Corum measured in at 5’8” and 205 lbs, which equates to a BMI of 31.2. He ran a “ho-hum” 4.53 40-yard dash (70th percentile), equating to a 97.4-speed score (55th percentile). Corum also displayed a 10.94 agility score (94th percentile) and a college dominator score of 31.1 percent (72nd percentile).
Corum shows elite strength, as his 27 reps on the bench press at the NFL Combine were the most among all running backs. He showcased solid leaping abilities with a 35.5” vertical. Corum also displayed impeccable agility skills, as he finished second in the 3-cone drill amongst all running backs at 6.82 seconds and third in the 20-yard shuttle at 4.12 seconds. His biggest red flag would be his health, as missed the end of the 2022 season with a torn meniscus.

DRAFT ANALYSIS
Rapid Reaction to Draft Capital: Average
Rapid Reaction to Landing Spot: Average
Corum was selected with the 83rd overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft by the Los Angeles Rams.
The Rams add Corum to a good backfield that features a highly productive fantasy back in Kyren Williams. Corum should serve as the team’s RB2 ahead of Zach Evans and Ronnie Rivers. And he may carve out a third-down back role if Williams takes a step back in 2024.
FANTASY INSIGHTS
Corum received a third-round grade from me before the draft, and I had him as the fifth-ranked running back behind Jonathan Brooks, Trey Benson, Braelon Allen, and Jaylen Wright.
In your rookie drafts, Corum is a third-round pick at best because of the landing spot. Williams is one of the better dynasty running backs out there right now, and it’s hard to imagine Corum overtaking him as the RB1 for the Rams any time soon.
