2025 Dynasty Rookie Mock with Landing Spots – Version 2.0

I’d say we’re well past due for another dynasty mock draft with real NFL landing spots. This is my second mock of the offseason; if you missed the first one, you can check that out here. As we did with the first mock, I will be covering my top two rounds (24 picks) based on a Superflex, PPR, and Tight End Premium format.

This NFL mock draft was completed by CBS NFL Analyst Chris Trapasso. You can find his full article and mock here, but for dynasty purposes, I’m just going to show you all the fantasy-relevant players drafted below, as well as their landing spots and draft capital.

1.11 – Tetairoa McMillan (WR – San Francisco 49ers)

1.14 – Tyler Warren (TE – Indianapolis Colts)

2.23 – Jayden Higgins (WR – Los Angeles Chargers)

2.25 – Harold Fannin Jr. (TE – Carolina Panthers)

2.31 – Quinshon Judkins (RB – Kansas City Chiefs)

Round 3

3.01 – Jalen Milroe (QB – New York Giants)

3.03 – TreVeyon Henderson (RB – Cleveland Browns)

3.04 – Isaiah Bond (WR – Minnesota Vikings)

3.05 – Elic Ayomanor (WR – New England Patriots)

3.09 – Tez Johnson (WR – New York Jets)

3.12 – DJ Giddens (RB – Dallas Cowboys)

3.15 – Xavier Restrepo (RB – Houston Texans)

3.21 – Jack Bech (WR – Denver Broncos)

3.23 – Jalen Royals (WR – Green Bay Packers)

3.25 – Mason Taylor (TE – Houston Texans)

3.30 – Tory Horton (WR – Cleveland Browns)

3.31 – Ricky White (WR – Kansas City Chiefs)

3.32 – Gunnar Helm (TE – Philadelphia Eagles)

There you have it. Let’s jump right into my first-round selections.

jeanty

1.01: Ashton Jeanty – Las Vegas Raiders

Same landing spot as my first mock. It seems like everyone mocks Jeanty to the Raiders nowadays. There’s nothing I can say here you don’t already know. Jeanty is the 1.01 in all formats, all scenarios.

1.02: Cameron Ward – Tennessee Titans

First overall pick. Day 1 starter. In Superflex formats, you don’t really have to overthink this one. Ward is the best player available at 1.02 here.

1.03: Tet McMillan – San Francisco 49ers

I don’t love this landing spot, but I don’t hate it. Cons: Brandon Aiyuk will be back, Ricky Pearsall made big Year 1 strides, and SF doesn’t throw much. Pros: Deebo is gone, and Purdy is extremely efficient through the air. Despite being in the bottom half of the league in attempts and completions, they finished 3rd in YPA and 4th in pass yards.

1.04: Colston Loveland – Los Angeles Chargers

An absolute dream landing spot with nice draft capital. Loveland reunites with his old college coach, Jim Harbaugh. In a TEP format, 1.04 might even be too low here.

1.05: Travis Hunter – New England Patriots

Hunter going to New England may give us our best odds at seeing him as a full-time wide receiver, given how strong their cornerback room is currently. We know New England thinks very highly of Hunter as a two-way player, so this is a pretty realistic spot. He could break fantasy if he runs every route.

1.06: Tyler Warren – Indianapolis Colts

It seems like Indianapolis drafts a tight end every year, and they never pan out. They may have finally found their guy in Tyler Warren. Unfortunate landing spot for Warren, though, with Richardson under center.

1.07: Omarion Hampton – Denver Broncos

Denver traded up with Jacksonville in this mock to secure their RB1 of the future. With Javonte gone, Denver really only has Jaleel McLaughlin and Audric Estime left. Hampton should have no issues passing these guys on the depth chart and earning a large share of this backfield.

egbuka

1.08: Emeka Egbuka – Tennessee Titans

The Titans WR depth chart essentially consists of 30-year-old Calvin Ridley and nobody else. This is one of the few spots Egbuka could step in and be the WR1 for his team right away. Tennessee trades up with the Rams to get their guy.  Egbuka teams up with fellow rookie Cam Ward in this mock. Should be exciting!

1.09: Matthew Golden – Seattle Seahawks

If you’re looking for gaudy college production and efficiency, Matthew Golden isn’t your guy. However, this kid absolutely pops on tape as an elite athlete with translatable skills. With DK headed to Pittsburgh, Seattle may have found the X guy. They could keep JSN in the slot and make Kupp the Z receiver. Works out well.

1.10: Quinshon Judkins – Kansas City Chiefs

End of the second round isn’t the draft capital we were hoping for, but Judkins lands in an excellent spot where he can step in and be the RB1 right away on a perennial championship contender. I don’t think Pacheco is a serious threat, and Kareem Hunt and Elijah Mitchell may as well be zeroes with Judkins coming to town.

1.11: Luther Burden – Detroit Lions

This is lower than I’d typically have Burden, but I don’t love this landing spot for him. They already have a slot receiver in Detroit, and he’s one of the best in the entire league. On top of that, you have to compete for targets with Jameson Williams, Sam LaPorta, and Jahmyr Gibbs. I know the Lions led the league in touchdowns last year, but there’s only so many fantasy points to go around.

shedeur

1.12: Shedeur Sanders – New York Jets

After signing Justin Fields to a 2-year contract, New York elects to use their 7th overall pick on another young quarterback, Shedeur Sanders. We’ll see how this quarterback competition plays out. Even if Fields is the Day 1 QB, this should be good value for Shedeur. He projects to be their quarterback of the future, maybe as soon as midseason in 2025. Fields will have a short leash.

That wraps up my Round 1 selections in a Superflex, PPR, TEP format. My second-round selections are below, minus the explanation:

2.01: Kaleb Johnson – Chicago Bears

2.02: Jaxson Dart – Cleveland Browns

2.03: TreVeyon Henderson – Cleveland Browns

2.04: Jalen Milroe – New York Giants

2.05: Jayden Higgins – Los Angeles Chargers

2.06: D.J. Giddens – Dallas Cowboys

2.07: Tre Harris – Arizona Cardinals

2.08: Jaylin Noel – Chicago Bears

2.09: Xavier Restrepo – Houston Texans

2.10: Elic Ayomanor – New England Patriots

2.11: Jack Bech – Denver Broncos

2.12: Harold Fannin Jr. – Carolina Panthers
