It’s Bowl Season, baby! For college football fans, nothing quite matches the heightened drama of often hilariously named season finales. I, for one, have reached a feverish enthusiasm. I cannot wait to begin grading prospects for my 2022 rookie drafts.
I wanted to share that excitement with the #DFFArmy with a sneak peek into the market shares of some of my favorite wide receiver prospects. Consider this a “pre-Bowl” program of sorts. Let’s get to know the stars before they take center stage for their closing performances.

Jameson Williams – Alabama Crimson TideÂ

Jameson Williams will earn plenty of looks in Alabama’s opening playoff game, especially without the services of fellow wideout John Metchie III. Williams’ speed will be unmatched on the field against Cincinnati. Expect a sensational performance from the speedster.
Treylon Burks – Arkansas RazorbacksÂ
(294 TPA/5,291 TOTAL YDS/55 OFF. TD)
12 GP|66 REC|16.72 YPC|34.55 MS% REC|93 TGT

22.88 MS% YDS|23.63 MS% OFF. TD
My WR1 entering the 2022 NFL Draft. Treylon Burks checks all of the boxes as a future star at the NFL level. Burks bridges the gap between film and analytics. He pops eyes both on the advanced charts and on film. Burks has already opted out of Arkansas’ bowl game to focus on the NFL draft. A positive sign for the stunning prospect.
Garrett Wilson – Ohio State Buckeyes
(447 TPA/6,613 TOTAL YDS/64 OFF. TD)
11 GP|70 REC|15.11 YPC|22.43 MS% REC|103 TGT
23.78 TS%|1058 REC YDS/12 TD – 4 RSH ATT/76Â RSH YDS/1 TD
17.14 MS% TOTAL YDS|20.31 MS% OFF. TD
You could certainly make an argument for Garrett Wilson to be the first wide receiver taken off the board. Wilson managed to produce despite being on a crowded offense. We may not see Wilson play in the final contest, but he has done more than enough to warrant high praise.
Chris Olave – Ohio State Buckeyes
(447 TPA/6,613 TOTALÂ YDS/64 OFF. TD)
12 GP|65 REC|16.27 YPC|20.83 MS% REC|100 TGT
22.37 TS%|936 REC YDS/13 TD – 0 RSH ATT/0 RSH YDS/0 TD
14.15 MS% TOTAL YDS|20.31 MS% OFF. TD
Opposite Wilson is co-star Chris Olave. Olave stock has fallen in many eyes after the emergence of Wilson and Jaxon Smith-Njigba. Nevertheless, Olave will be hungry to prove his metal one last time under the spotlight.
Jahan Dotson – Penn State Nittany Lions
(451 TPA/4,570 TOTAL YDS/35 OFF. TD)
12 GP| 91 REC|13.0 YPC|39.97 MS% REC|145 TGT
32.15 TS%| 1182 REC YDS/12 TD – 6 RSH/18 YDS/1 TD – 2 ATT/2 CMP/43 YDS
27.19 MS% TOTAL YDS | 37.14 MS% OFF. TDÂ
Jahan Dotson IS the Penn State Offense. Not declaring early for the NFL Draft has undeniably dropped Dotson’s stock. However, his incredible production keeps the hype afloat. Dotson is an uber-talented receiver that managers will likely overlook for all the wrong reasons. Hopefully, we get to see Dotson put up one more big game to keep the doubters in check.
