This week and every week going forward we’ll bring you several recommendations for players you should add to your dynasty rosters. We’ll mainly be targeting lower-owned guys who should be available in all but the deepest leagues.
Be sure to check out all of our in-season content right here.
(There will be no recommended FAAB spends in this article, as those decisions always depend on your team’s needs).
Josh Adams (RB – NYJ)
Ty Johnson was the clear lead back after Frank Gore left the game with a concussion but Adams looked decent in limited action. He took eight rushing attempts for 74 yards (8.4 yards per carry). If Gore misses more time Adams would be one injury away from a lead role. The Jets are bad but there’s still some young fantasy value to be had on that roster, especially from a dynasty perspective.
Chad Hansen (WR – HOU)
Chad Hansen caught five of seven targets for 101 yards for the Houston Texans. Hansen was certainly off the radar last week as we all had Keke Coutee on the brain, and as the main waiver wire addition, but with Cooks a bit shook up on Sunday he could see even more action. Cook was being evaluated for a concussion, something he’s struggled with throughout his career. Hansen is a target regardless of Cooks’ status for this game.
Dan Arnold (TE – ARI)
I’ve been banging the drum on Dan Arnold for some time. He hasn’t panned out like many of us had hoped but he’s scored three touchdowns in the last three games. Kyler Murray has struggled recently and Arnold has been his security blanket, especially in the red zone. He’s not a must-start or must-add but he probably should be rostered at this point.
Jordan Howard (RB – PHI)
Jordan Howard isn’t on the list because he was productive by any means. He’s on here for insurance. 2020 is the year of holding handcuffs if possible because you never know what could happen. Miles Sanders has missed time in the past and I’d want Howard if that happened again. Howard had 25% of the running back touches against the Packers this week. He’s worth an add for insurance at the very least.
LEAVE ON THE WIRE:
Jeremy McNichols (RB – TEN)
McNichols snagged himself a receiving touchdown in the loss to Cleveland but had just two total carries and four total targets. He’s not someone likely to find his way into a lead role even if there was a major injury to Derrick Henry. They would use a committee as there isn’t a single option capable of replacing King Henry. Leave this one for someone else to waste their money on.
