Week 3 Dynasty Waiver Wire Adds

I may be a week or two late to this waiver wire add, but the Raiders seem to want Peyton Barber to be the bell cow running back while Josh Jacobs is out of the lineup. In back-to-back weeks he has had 13 carries and 23 carries. Not only is he getting carries, but he is making good use of them. He put up over 100 yards on the ground in Week 3 against a good Dolphins’ defense. Jacobs may not be fully healthy and, if he misses more time, Barber is a guy you can use in your flex. Better yet, you can try to flip him in a trade if this usage continues much longer.

Tank Bigsby: 2021 Devy Profile

Bigsby went viral in his third collegiate game when he had 146 yards on 20 carries. He became the Tigers workhorse back, despite their anemic Bo Nix-led offense. Bigsby battled injuries throughout the season, otherwise, his freshman stats would be even more impressive. Bigsby rushed for 834 yards and five TDs on his 138 attempts. He had an impressive 6.0 yards per rush against the daunting defenses of the SEC. Bigsby showed that he is a capable pass catcher, but not to the extent of being able to play outside in his freshman season. He caught 11 passes for 84 yards.

The Redraft Wire: Week 14

This weekly article is focused on identifying players who are owned in less than 40% of redraft leagues. These players are going to help your team win this week and every week to come! We are looking for guys you should be able to plug into your starting lineup without hesitation. Mooney truly shouldn’t be featured in this series any longer. I don’t quite understand how he’s still under 40% owned. Mooney has received six or more targets in four of the last six games, so the opportunity is certainly there.

Week 6 Early Game Storylines

As usual, I’m trying a different type of article this week. I will go through each of the early slate games and discuss one dynasty-relevant storyline per team that I’m excited to see. If I get a chance, I might look at the rest of the games in another article, but I wanted to start with only the first set. This piece will give you something specific to look for in each contest, which I hope helps you enjoy the games even more. I’ve listed the home team first for each game. I won’t waste any more time, so let’s jump straight in!

The Redraft Wire – Week 1

MVS’s ownership comes in just over 40% but we’ll include him anyway as he’s on just about all my redraft waiver wires. The Packers have been searching far and wide to assist Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams but we’re never sure who it will be. MVS could finally be separating himself from the pack (no pun intended). He finished Week 1 with four receptions on six targets for 96 yards and a 45-yard touchdown. The Packer’s deep threat should be at the top of your waiver list if receivers are needed.

Post-Guice Washington Backfield

The Post-Guice Washington Dynasty Backfield

Recently, I wrote a quick, free dynasty profile on Derrius Guice. In that article, I covered Guice’s dynasty value after his recent release and how to handle Guice moving forward. Honestly, I’m tired of talking about Guice, since there’s a good chance he never plays another NFL down. However, Guice leaves behind a massive hole in the Washington backfield, which somebody will fill. Let’s go through their depth chart, player-by-player, and discuss each option in dynasty terms.

Washington Football Culture Shock

Washington Football Team Culture Shock Continues

The moon has not completed a single orbit around the earth since the Washington Football Team scandal broke, as over a dozen female former employees had alleged ‘Football Team’ executives of sexual harassment. New Head Coach, Ron Rivera took the podium and announced his and the team’s displeasure in the findings, and lead the charge to right the ship. Twenty-two days later, on a day where the twitter community believed that the big news of the day was the distasteful comments by an analyst at a prominent company, we were shocked bythe reporting of Derrius Guice’s arrest of domestic violence, assault and battery, and destruction of property. Again, with Ron Rivera at the helm ‘Football Team’ made the swift decision to release the 23-year old running back.

DFF Dynasty Daredevil

In this article, it’s time to look at the dynasty dynamite canisters. These are the guys that can explode in value or blow up and become nothing. I expect each of these players to do exactly that by the end of 2020. There’s no in-between, as I don’t foresee a mediocre outcome. Most of these players are on their “last chance” for dynasty owners. But, each has the upside to be a top asset.
