Redraft Team Focus: Eagles

I’m analyzing every one of the 32 NFL teams and all of their redraft-relevant fantasy assets in this article series. It’s a long project, but I want to make sure that you, the reader, have something you can refer to for every team. For each article, I’ll split up the fantasy assets into three categories: high-end assets, usable contributors, and dart throws. Let’s jump into the Eagles.

Factory Workers’ Dynasty League Rookie Draft

Late Round 2 and it’s another easy decision for me. Bryan Edwards is my WR5 in this class, so I hit the draft button before I could even field offers. Like Reagor, Edwards checks all the boxes for me. On film, his catch radius and strength at 6’3 212 pounds are evident. He regularly wins in contested catch situations, making him “open” even when he isn’t truly open.

Marquise Goodwin to the Eagles

Recently, the Eagles have made a bunch of transactions to overhaul their wide receiver room, including a trade for Marquise Goodwin. While I might cover the 49ers’ receiver situation in another piece, I think that most dynasty owners had already assumed that Goodwin was on his way out there. Therefore, there should be little to no change in the dynasty value of the receivers there. With that said, let’s jump into it.

NFL Draft First Round: Redraft Reaction

In this article, I’ll give rapid-fire takes on how all the skill players selected in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft will impact redraft leagues. I’ll try to provide an estimate for where I’ll rank them as well. At the bottom, I’ve included links to my four-part early rookie redraft preview, to give a comparison of what I thought back then to how I feel now once we have landing spots.

Devy Scouting Report: Jalen Reagor

Jalen Reagor is a former four-star recruit and was ranked as the 13th best wide receiver in his class by 247Sports. Reagor would commit to Texas Christian and go on to have three successful seasons as a pass-catcher, even if the box scores didn’t always look good. Reagor fell victim to bad offenses and scheming at times but would still flash his upside through this all.

Mid-Season Devy Fallers

D’eriq King (QB) Houston
After a tremendous 2018 season scoring 50 touchdowns, D’eriq King took a large step back in the first few games of 2019. Due to the new redshirt rules for college football, King has turned this season into a redshirt. The new college rule allows a player to use a redshirt for a season if they play in 4 or fewer games, thus allowing King to use the new rule.
