Kyle Monangai

Kyle Monangai: Grab, Stash, Profit

Let me say this up front: I’m very high on Kyle Monangai.

He’s one of those players flying way under the radar right now, going in the late rounds of startup drafts, or sitting there on waivers just waiting to be scooped. But I’ve been ahead of the curve on this one. I have so much stock in him across my leagues, and I’m telling you now before the breakout buzz starts. Grab and stash him before everyone else catches on.

Monangai, listed at 23, 5’9”, 200-210 lbs., was drafted by the Bears in the 7th round (233rd overall) of the 2025 NFL Draft. Sure, it’s late. But don’t let that fool you. This kid earned everything he got and produced every step of the way. He spent five years at Rutgers, played in 52 games with 35 starts, and was a two-time All-Big Ten selection, including a First-Team nod in 2024. He finished his college career with 3,222 rushing yards and 27 touchdowns, making him second all-time in rushing yards in Scarlet Knights history.

Last year alone, he ran for 1,279 yards on 256 attempts and 13 touchdowns, averaging 5.0 yards a pop. That’s not a fluke; that’s workhorse production in one of the toughest conferences in the country. And when you watched him, it was clear: the vision, the balance through contact, the toughness. He’s built to grind.

Now he steps into a wide-open opportunity in Chicago. Reports out of Bears camp already have Monangai running as the RB2 behind D’Andre Swift. And if you’ve been paying attention, you know exactly how this could play out.

Ben Johnson, in his first year as head coach, is going to put his stamp on this offense. We saw what he did in Detroit. The way he used Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery as a 1-2 punch, lightning and thunder. That same formula is brewing in Chicago. Swift will be the explosive weapon. Monangai? He’s about to be the hammer. The guy who moves the chains, closes games, and forces his way onto the field with consistent play.

This Bears offense is going to look different. More creative. More balanced. And if Swift goes down or gets banged up, which we’ve seen before, Monangai’s value skyrockets overnight.

I’ve seen enough. I’m not waiting for the breakout to happen before I act. Monangai is one of the best stash RBs you can get right now, and once he starts producing, good luck trying to trade for him.

He’s a guy I believe in. He’s a guy I’m loading up on. And he’s a guy you’ll want on your roster before everyone else figures it out. Stash Kyle Monangai today and thank me later.
