In part one of this article, I gave you three rookies to target in redraft formats in 2019.As discussed previously, I will limit the discussion to running backs and wide receivers due to fantasy relevance and the limited value at the quarterback and tight end positions. In this section, I will give you one running back and two wide receivers to avoid in drafts.
I know it feels like an eternity since we could trust a wide receiver other than Davante Adams to produce fantasy points in Green Bay, but it hasn’t been as long as you may recall. Historically, Aaron Rodgers number two option has been a player you want on your roster. At least two of Rodgers […]
With week two in the books, the preseason IDP battles are starting to work their way to a resolution. So, without further ado, let’s wrap up the IDP news of NFL Preseason Week Two…..
There are a number of IDP players whose value are in flux as we approach the season. I wanted to break a few defensive linemen down quickly, in a little game I like to call “Red Light/Green Light”.
Here is my bird’s eye view of how the teams in the NFC West are looking from a fantasy perspective for the upcoming NFL100 season. I’ll be updating the dynasty outlooks of players throughout the season ahead. But we need a starting reference point to work from, and this is it.Let’s start with the divisional champions, the Los Angeles Rams.

Drafting rookies is a key part of fantasy drafts and is one of the best ways to provide an edge over your competitors. As rookies have not yet competed in the NFL, your average fantasy player is less informed about their skill sets and abilities. There are no previous stats or fantasy finishes to rely on to help in evaluating players, like those that exist for veterans.
Six months is a long time to be digging up stats and researching football. Through all that confusion, fantasy fans develop hard stances on players’ situations and refuse to change their mindset. We either get sucked into believing the hype of a player, or we ignore a beautiful situation because we have convinced ourselves that a team is no good. We’re all guilty of it.
Check out my arguments to why I believe T.J. Hockenson will deliver year one production.

The 1973 season saw the NFL’s first 2,000-yard rusher. Orenthal James “O.J.” Simpson whisked his way to history by rolling up 2,003 rushing yards. His Buffalo Bills only needed him to handle the rock 332 times. That was good for an average per attempt of six yards. Those were truly astonishing feats by the man most fans referred to as “The Juice.”
Enter the Broncos 1973 first-round pick (9th overall) Otis Armstrong.
This is a collection of my thoughts and insights on the first preseason week of year. While I haven’t gotten to watch every game yet, I do plan to go back to watch all that I can. With that said I have watched quite a few games and highlights of others. There is a little bit of everything here from rookies and veterans, injuries and possible replacements, to breakouts and busts. Let’s take a look at this past weeks nuggets.

This week’s waiver wire article is all heavy on backup running backs. When scouring the waiver wire, you should be looking to add players who are only an injury away from a significant role. Wide receivers don’t typically fit this bill because even when a wide receiver goes down to injury, his targets can be distributed among many other receivers, running backs and tight ends. When a running goes down, his touches are usually not distributed to more than one or two other players. You can hold onto these players and hope that the become outliers. Or you can flip them for late-round picks or FAAB it’s all profit since all it will take to acquire them is the roster space.
People often say the preseason is worthless. Either the game plans are too basic and there is nothing on the line. Sometimes injuries could lead to losing a favorite player on the draft board. But to me, the preseason is the most crucial part of the fantasy football season. It’s all about knowing what to look for. Here are some examples of key traits to be aware of:……………
In this article, I’m going to give you some tips for how to handle the final rounds of your redraft leagues. Specifically, we’re going to be looking at how to handle choosing which running backs and wide receivers to take a flier on and how to handle the quarterback and tight end positions if you have not dealt with them earlier in the draft.
This article will be published weekly and will include interesting IDP stats, analysis, and possible sleeper options to pick up as the year progresses. So, without further ado, let’s wrap up the IDP news of NFL Preseason Week One.NFL Football is back baby (let’s be honest, the HOF game doesn’t count) and even though few true starters played much this weekend, we have plenty of exciting game action to over analyze!
1) LB Kenny Young, Baltimore Ravens –The Baltimore defense toyed with the Jaguars at home this week, shutting out Jacksonville in a 29-0 beat down. Of the many standouts on defense, Kenny Young was the star, securing five total tackles, including a de-cleater of Gardner Minshew, in his limited time on the field. Young has a chance to be a starting LB for Baltimore. If he is, he’ll have plenty of IDP production in 2019.
