Believe it or not, we are only 19 days away from kicking off the 2017 college football season. It’s time to start making plans for that opening weekend watch party. We are in the final stretch, but as we get closer to August 26th, the days are starting to drag by. We might as well do something to pass the time so let’s continue our look at our consensus Top 25 Devy prospects with our 19th ranked player:
Name: Myles Gaskin
Weight: 191 lbs
2018 Class: 14
As a freshman, Myles Gaskin rushed for 1,302 yards and 14 touchdowns. As a sophomore, he rushed for 1,373 yards and 10 touchdowns. You could probably pencil in another 1,300 yards and double-digit scores for him this season. However, I have a sneaking suspicion that you’d be lowballing it if you did that. With the way his season ended against Alabama, we’d be crazy to think Gaskin settles for anything in 2017.
Jason DiRienzo broke down the strengths and weaknesses of Gaskin’s game in this player profile. Kyle Francis compared and contrasted Myles Gaskin to fellow PAC 12 and class of 2018 RB Ronald Jones II here. If that’s not enough, you can download Devy Watch here.
