Dynasty Risers & Fallers: Week 2 Preseason

Week 2 of the NFL preseason has given dynasty managers valuable insight into who is trending up, who is slipping, and which players are positioning themselves for major roles in the regular season. While these games don’t count for standings, they matter for perception, opportunity, and early dynasty value. Here’s the complete breakdown of Week 2’s Buyers/Risers and Sellers/Fallers.

Dynasty Startup Strategy: @DFF_MR Rounds 7-12

Dynasty teams, competing immediately or punting to the future, are built in what I like to call The Championship Rounds. Historically, you don’t lose leagues in the first three rounds, and you’re committing to a specific type of build in Rounds 4-6. When you hit Round 7,+ it’s about finding pieces that not only fill out your squad but present certain types of floor and upside, along with a combination of youth and veteran production. We finish off in this Superflex Format + PPR + TEP (.5) + three Flex spots.

Dynasty Risers & Fallers: Week 1 Preseason

The first full week of preseason football is in the books, and while the games might not count in the standings, they count for Dynasty managers paying attention. This is where the market moves before most people realize it’s moving. Yes, it’s only the first real taste of game action this year, but the takeaways were impossible to ignore. Some players stepped up and forced their way into the conversation, while others left us shaking our heads, wondering if the hype was ever real. It’s early, but early is where the edge is found.

Kyle Monangai

Kyle Monangai: Grab, Stash, Profit

Let me say this up front: I’m very high on Kyle Monangai. He’s one of those players flying way under the radar right now, going in the late rounds of startup drafts, or sitting there on waivers just waiting to be scooped. But I’ve been ahead of the curve on this one. I have so much stock in him across my leagues, and I’m telling you now before the breakout buzz starts. Grab and stash him before everyone else catches on.

Dynasty Startup Mock Draft Strategy (Rounds 4-6): Building A Champion From the Jump

After walking away from the first three rounds with Brock Bowers, Ashton Jeanty, and Baker Mayfield, I entered Day 2 of the startup draft ready to build around that elite foundation, locking in key contributors who offer immediate upside and long-term star potential. With the 4.02, 5.11, and 6.02 picks, I continued drafting with conviction and walked away with three players who each have league-winning upside.

Jordan James

Jordan James: Grab, Stash, Profit

One of the most valuable under-the-radar assets in Dynasty Fantasy Football has to be anyone on the running back depth chart for the 49ers. With news this week of Isaac Guerendo’s shoulder injury and nagging health history, you’re going to hear the name Jordan James more as Guerendo is expected to miss multiple weeks, and Christian McCaffrey won’t see the field until Week 1. It’s not out of the range of possibilities that we witness another Oregon RB (see Bucky Irving) quickly ascend in valuation as the season progresses.

Tyler Allgeier: Grab, Stash, Profit

Let’s talk about Tyler Allgeier, one of the most underrated bench stashes in all of Dynasty and Redraft right now. He’s going late in the double-digit rounds of most startup drafts, if he’s even being drafted at all in shallower formats, and that’s exactly the kind of profile I want to scoop before the rest of the league catches on. If you’re rostering Bijan Robinson he’s a must. But even if you’re not, Allgeier is one of the best handcuff values you can grab and stash right now.
