LaNorris Sellers

Another Way Too Early 2026 Dynasty Rookie Mock Draft

We’re four weeks into the CFB season, and there’s enough intel available for another way-too-early 2026 Rookie Mock Draft. Without further ado, the DFF Army jumps in…

1.01 LaNorris Sellers, QB, South Carolina – @DFF_MR

LaNorris isn’t going to pop off the stat sheet quite like you’d expect a SuperFlex 1.01 pick would through four weeks, but he’s still my 1.01 in 26 Rookie Drafts. In Dynasty Fantasy Football, we covet the Konami QB, and despite the early-season roller coaster, nobody in this draft class has quite the same tools to pay off in fantasy gold.

1.02 Jordyn Tyson, WR, Arizona St. – @force_fantasy

At 1.02, I am going to select Jordyn Tyson. He is the clear WR1 in the 2026 class. Tyson has picked right up where he left off after his explosive sophomore year, where he eclipsed the 3.00 yards per route run threshold while putting up 1098 yards. He has the height and separation ability to win outside. With a really thin supply at WR in this class, Tyson will be in high demand.

1.03 Jeremiyah Love, RB, Notre Dame @jim_DFF

At 1.03, I’m going with my RB1 of the class, Jeremiyah Love. Efficiency numbers will be down this year, but this is due to a poor offensive line. He’s a highly versatile athlete with elite PPR upside.

John Mateer

1.04 John Mateer, QB, Oklahoma  – @DffFrankPanthro

At 1.04, what I like most about Mateer is that he’s built for the modern game. He can absorb contact and still deliver the ball. His arm strength is a real asset. You can feel his energy every time. Mateer has that bulldog mentality that coaches love. @Evan_Kerr_  with the 1.05

1.05 Garrett Nussmeier, QB, LSU  – @Evan_Kerr_

At 1.05, I will take the best pure arm talent in the class. A bit of a gunslinger that takes some risks, but the tools are there. He is going to look great in a Saints uniform. Give me Garrett Nussmeier.

1.06 Nick Singleton, RB, Penn State – @DFF_Dynasty

@DFF_Dynasty selects Nick Singleton, RB Penn State. It’s definitely a discussion, but with Love off the board and Haynes likely falling in the next 5-6 picks, we’re taking the next Nittany Lion NFL RB.

1.07 Justice Haynes, RB, Michigan – @FFChalmers

At 1.06, I’m going Michigan RB Justice Haynes. Very misused at Bama. Now in a featured role, you see the explosiveness and nose for the end zone. A true three-down skill set who could really thrive at the next level.

Carnell Tate

1.08 Carnell Tate, WR, Ohio State – @FFDelly

It’s a close call between two guys for me, but I’ll always take from the Ohio State WR room. That being said, I’m taking Carnell Tate with the 1.07 playing behind some studs, but he is still a big-play guy for the Buckeyes this year.

1.09 Antonio Williams, WR, Clemson – @DFF_MR

I’m going with Antonio Williams in this spot. He’s battled the injury bug and subpar quarterback play by Cade Klubnik, not to mention being surrounded by future first-round NFL talent in TJ Moore and Bryant Wesco. As my guy @FFDelly said previously, when in doubt, go with Wide Receiver University, and Clemson qualifies.

1.10 Drew Allar, QB, Penn St. – @force_fantasy

There is chatter that the 2026 class is weak for Dynasty. Yet here we are at the 1.10 and I find myself deciding between two quarterbacks that could have as much fantasy impact as Cam Ward, who was a consensus top 5 pick this year. Fernando Mendoza and Drew Allar. Mendoza is completing 77% of his passes with a 14-to-0 TD to INT ratio. But I am going Allar. He has the prototype NFL build with high-end arm talent. But what I like most for Dynasty is his rushing ability. He had 300 yards rushing and six TDs last year.

1.11 Makai Lemon, WR, USC – @jim_DFF

At 1.11, I’ll go with my WR2 of the class, Makai Lemon. Slot receiver with insane efficiency (5+ YPRR this year), great hands, YAC monster. I don’t see why he can’t be a top 24 WR right away.

1.12 Jonah Coleman, RB, Washington  – @DffFrankPanthro

At 1.12, I’ll take Jonah Coleman. 2025 so far: 51 carries, 347 yards (6.8 YPC), nine TDs already. Career: 2,643 total yards, 24 TDs, and he’s only getting better. Smash mouth football is what I love.

Denzel Boston

2.01 Denzel Boston, WR, Washington  – @Evan_Kerr_

Outside of the top 3 QBs and top 4 RBs, I really don’t like much in this class, and my confidence in true fantasy assets decreases rapidly. I think Denzel Boston will be a dark-horse first-round draft pick. He is my WR4 in the class, stands at 6’4”, and plays with arrogant hands. So at 2.01, I will take Boston and feel confident that I am getting a potential X at the next level.

2.02 Dante Moore, QB, Oregon – @DFF_Dynasty

@DFF_Dynasty is taking Dante Moore, QB, Oregon at 2.01. Moore is rocketing up draft boards with his play this season, with some analysts projecting him as a top-10 NFL pick. Should Dante get first round DC, he’s a steal at 2.01 in SuperFlex.

2.03 Eli Stowers, TE, Vanderbilt – @FFChalmers

I took him in our last mock, and here we are. At 2.03, I’m going with Vandy TE Eli Stowers. He paced the Commodores in receiving last year, and he’s on pace to do it again. Love his size, athleticism, and physicality.

Kaytron Allen

2.04 Kaytron Allen, RB, Penn State  – @FFDelly

With the 2.04, I’m taking Kaytron Allen, RB Penn State, although he’s been in the same backfields as Singleton, has at times outshone him. Allen is off to an insane start with 8 YPC so far this year. Excited to see how he translates to the NFL.

2.05 Eric Singleton Jr., WR, Auburn – @DFF_MR

Eric Singleton Jr. is the selection at 2.05. The Auburn pass catchers are plentiful, and although Singleton doesn’t have the shine of Cam Coleman or Malcolm Simmons, we still like a WR value mid-second round.

2.06 Fernando Mendoza, QB, Indiana. – @force_fantasy

Wait, you are telling me Fernando Mendoza hasn’t been selected yet?

I have seen him as a top 5 pick on multiple boards. He has a 14-to-0 TD to INT ratio and 77% completion in his first four games. He has a 206 passer rating (Only 1 player in history has finished a season higher, Jayden Daniels). Mendoza also has desirable traits with prototype size and exceptional arm strength.

2.07 Carson Beck, QB, Miami – @jim_DFF

2.07 I’ll go with Carson Beck from Miami. Down game against Florida, but overall, he’s having a nice comeback season, slowly building his draft stock back up. Big frame, good pocket presence, error-prone but fearless.

Big Ten football: Rutgers at Maryland

2.08 Ian Strong, WR, Rutgers – @DffFrankPanthro

At 2.08, I’ll take Ian Strong, a big man from Rutgers. At 6’3” 211, he is a dominant WR not afraid to go get the ball.

2.09 Germie Bernard, WR, Alabama  – @Evan_Kerr_

Two players should not still be available here. I will take the next WR off my board that is being overlooked due to Ryan Williams being his teammate. Give me Germie Bernard at 2.09.

2.10 Jayce Brown, WR, Kansas State – @DFF_Dynasty

@DFF_Dynasty selects Jayce Brown out of Kansas State at 2.10. The 6’0”, 180 lbs. wide receiver profiles as a “Joker” at the next level. Think of this year’s version of Luther Burden III

Chris Brazzell II

2.11 Chris Brazzell II, Tennessee – @FFChalmers

At 2.11, I’m going with one of the biggest risers in college this year. Tennessee WR Chris Brazzell II. A 6’5 WR with strong hands and crazy athleticism. It’s concerning it took this long for the breakout, but I love what I’m seeing right now.

2.12 Kenyon Sadiq, TE, Oregon – @FFDelly

Closing this one out with the 2.12 & Kenyon Sadiq TE Oregon, at 6’3” with great speed for his size, he’s a big play threat & can throw a block or two when needed. Although he has limited action in Oregon, he’s shining when called upon.
