2026 Dynasty Vet Values: Volume 2

Welcome back, Dynasty Football managers! Throughout the season, it’s essential to continually evaluate rosters to determine which players to trade for or cut ties with. With that, it’s time for Volume 2 of Dynasty Vet Values for 2026. In this series, I’ll be analyzing veteran players who are excellent targets for your contending teams based on current Dynasty market value and perhaps assist to bet the NFL this weekend. We all know youth and longevity are essential to remain competitive in Dynasty. But the ultimate goal is to win fantasy championships, and sometimes that means acquiring that “win-now” asset.

I’ll be using KeepTradeCut (KTC) to determine each player’s current market value. This is a crowdsourced Dynasty ranking site, providing us with a great idea of where the community stands. Let’s dive right in, and allow me to help you by suggesting the players that you’d be wise to acquire in Dynasty Fantasy Football right now.

QB | Tyler Shough | New Orleans Saints | KTC Rank: QB9 (30th overall)

Give me all the Tyler Shough that I can get for 2026. It’s early, but through the first four weeks, Shough ranked first in the NFL in pass attempts and fourth in passing yards. Impressively, the QB4 on the season, averaging 22.08 fantasy points (Half-PPR) on a Saints offense that plays at the fastest pace in the NFL, averaging a league-leading 27.1 seconds per play in 2025, is also leading the league this year. In Week 1, Shough threw for 410 passing yards with three touchdowns. But what separates Shough is that he’s also a threat with his legs. Shough also boasts one of the league’s top wide receivers in Chris Olave, and dynamic rookie and eighth overall draft pick Jordyn Tyson may return from injured reserve as soon as Week 5. It’s easy to see how this pass game is succeeding in volume and efficiency, even downfield, especially with a friendly rest-of-season schedule.

The Saints have dropped back on 69% of their offensive plays this season, which is the second-highest frequency in the league. Wheels are up for Shough the rest of this season, and when Tyson returns, there’s no reason to think that Shough’s game won’t be elevated even further. It’s easy to picture him finishing top-10 this season. I consider Shough a great buy because he’s been consistent this year in a high-powered offense. Coming off his worst performance of the season in Week 4 with 15.94 fantasy points (Half-PPR) is an even better time to buy in. He’s currently valued as the QB9, which is in line with a mid-2027 first-round pick. For a Dynasty manager who needs a quarterback for now and the future, this is an easy buy decision. Go buy a player with a high-powered, fast-paced, and offense-minded head coach. By season’s end, this will be a key acquisition for your contending Dynasty team to take the next step in building your championship roster. Shough has league-winning potential, and he needs to be on your roster over your league mates.

WR | Davante Adams | Los Angeles Rams | KTC Rank: WR35 (89th overall)

Davante Adams, a 13-year vet, continues to age like a fine wine and is having another strong season in his second season with the Rams. The future HOF’er, even at the age of 33, is producing, which so far has been helped by the groin injury to WR1 Puka Nacua. Even when playing next to Nacua, the Rams have proven to support two WRs in fantasy football consistently. But if for any reason Nacua misses more time with his injury, which sounds concerning as a pre-hernia, Davante Adams becomes an absolute league-winning player. Adams can be considered the best wide receiver handcuff in all of Dynasty Fantasy Football. He’s currently averaging 15.50 fantasy points (Half-PPR). His most productive game came in Week 3 when he had 35.50 fantasy points (Half-PPR). He recorded eight catches on 10 targets for an eye-popping 195 yards and two touchdowns. With Nacua making his return in Week 4, Adams had a down game at Philadelphia as the Rams offense didn’t get going until later in the game. Adams has always been one of Dynasty Fantasy Football’s most consistent and productive players, and this season is no different. For a win-now team, he’s one of the smartest veteran buys in Dynasty Fantasy Football.

Adams has been impressive overall this season through the first three weeks; he ranks sixth in receiving grade (88.0) and seventh in offensive grade (88.3) among all wide receivers with a minimum of 100 snaps. Throughout his career, he’s been a red zone weapon and touchdown machine, and there’s no reason to believe otherwise in 2026. Adams provides you with a solid floor every week and a ceiling that can win your weekly matchups. It’s easy to picture Adams finishing as a top 15 WR this season but possibly top 5 if Nacua’s injury nags him throughout the year. I’d look to acquire him and then reap the benefits afterwards. Adams is a consistent WR2 who, every week, can put up WR1-type numbers. He’s currently valued as the WR35, which is in line with an early-to-mid 2027 second-round pick. For a win-now Dynasty manager, this is an easy buy decision. Go with the proven player and acquire him at this price for your contending Dynasty team to take the next step in building your championship roster at a reasonable price. Adams has league-winning potential, and he needs to be on your roster over your league mates.

Kansas City Chiefs v Arizona Cardinals

WR | Rashee Rice | Kansas City Chiefs | KTC Rank: WR26 (73rd overall)

Rashee Rice is one of the easiest wide receiver buy-low candidates that all contenders should be exploring. Still only 26 and now recovering from his season-ending knee injury last year, his pairing with Patrick Mahomes will win leagues. Even though Rice left early in Sunday’s Week 4 matchup with the Raiders with a hamstring injury that appears to be minor, the Chiefs bye this week couldn’t come at a better time. Rice was underutilized in Weeks 1 and 2, but Week 3 against Miami should be more of what we see, as Rice is trending up. In Week 3, he had seven receptions on nine targets for 88 yards. The high volume of targets is what we love to see here, as the touchdowns will come. While the Chiefs are a run-heavy team with free agent acquisition Ken Walker, I still do expect Rice to be a productive player. What was most impressive about Rice in Week 3 was that he had a 37.5% target share and 38.9% first-read target share, which led the team by a wide margin, both of which were under 16% in the first two weeks of the season. Rice was also being used further downfield, with his aDot and average depth of route break both climbing over 2 full yards, and he also had two red-zone targets as he’s a very solid WR2. In Week 3, we also saw Rice with an average separation of 4.40 yards, which ranked 4th amongst all wide receivers. After the Miami game, Head Coach Andy Reid also commented on Rice, “He’s so good with the ball after he gets it and so physical that he adds another dimension; he’s almost like having a running back at the wide receiver spot.”

Rice is undervalued, and as the season goes along and Rice gets healthier, he’s only going to get better and better. Additionally, the Chiefs lost Tyquan Thornton to a season-ending injury, which only opens the door for Rice to absorb more targets. While he might not be a high-end WR1, there’s no reason to think that he can’t be a mid-to-low-end WR1. Currently, Rice is valued as the WR26, which aligns with a late 2027 first-round pick or early second-round pick. As a contending team needing one more piece, this is a smart price to pay for a player who has weekly WR1 upside, putting your roster in a better position to chase your championship hopes for a very reasonable price.

RB | Zach Charbonnet | Seattle Seahawks | KTC Rank: RB31 (112th)

My favorite buy-low candidate at this time and potential league winner this season is Zach Charbonnet. With the Seahawks opening his 21-day practice window, Charbonnet’s buy-low window is about to close very soon. There have been reports that he’s close and could possibly return in Week 5. No one else from the Seahawks backfield has emerged, including first-round draft selection Jadarian Price, who has proven he’s not a true RB1, as he’s not produced more than 6.80 fantasy points (Full-PPR), with 52 rushing yards. Also, with the news that Price went on IR and will miss the next four weeks minimum, it makes Charbonnet the easiest buy in Dynasty right now. The other running backs on the Seahawks roster, George Holani and Emanuel Wilson, overall have not proven to be an every-down RB1 at any point in their careers. Newly signed Joe Mixon hasn’t played in almost two years. This helps open the door for Charbonnet to possibly be one of the most valuable rest-of-season players that you can grab now at a discount. Don’t forget, when Ken Walker was in Seattle, it was Charbonnet stealing a lot of his touches and most of the goal-line work. On 13 goal-line carries through three weeks, the Seahawks have scored just one rushing touchdown. This is an area Charbonnet excels, and I expect him to have a big impact on their ground game. Charbonnet could have a massive impact on a team that wants to run the football. Once Charbonnet gets ramped up, his value is going to skyrocket.

Charbonnet is undervalued and one of the smartest buys. In 2025, he’s coming off of a season where he scored 12 touchdowns and graded as a top-five running back in PFF rushing grade. The last two seasons, Charbonnet has finished as a top-25 running back when splitting carries with Walker. This season, he really only has Price to compete with, who is nowhere near the running back that Walker is. Let’s not forget how big of an impact Charbonnet can have. In Week 17 against Carolina last season, he finished with 25.20 fantasy points (Half-PPR). In this game, he had 18 carries for 110 yards and two rushing touchdowns while adding two receptions for 12 yards. Currently, Charbonnet is valued as the RB32, which aligns with a late 2027 second-round or early 2027 third-round pick. I’d without a doubt feel comfortable paying this price, as acquiring Charbonnet can be a league-winning move for a win-now Dynasty manager and for a very reasonable price.

Conclusion

As the football season quickly moves along, don’t let your league catch you sleeping, as it’ll cost you in the standings. Buy these veteran players now to build your win-now, championship-caliber Dynasty Fantasy Football roster for this season.
