When people think of Will Levis from the Tennessee Titans, the first thought that comes to most might not be his raw athletic ability or his on-field play. It’s more likely his pre-2023 NFL Draft interviews that got him in the headlines for eating a banana whole with the peel and putting mayonnaise in his coffee.
On the field, Levis had a rocky 2023 rookie season, but being patient is a prudent strategy with young quarterbacks. Most people have a wide array of opinions on whether Levis will be a successful NFL quarterback or not. But most can agree that he’s currently being valued in the lower tier of quarterbacks. With that, now is the time to dive deeply into his current and future Dynasty value and determine if it’s worth buying or selling him in your Dynasty leagues.

Will Levis’ Dynasty Value
Levis’ rookie season started strong in his first game when the former second-round pick took over for Ryan Tannehill ahead of a Week 8 showdown with the Atlanta Falcons, and he got everyone’s hopes up as he went on to light up the Falcons for 238 yards and four touchdowns. He had some underthrown balls, but his debut showcased his skills, which were NFL-ready overall. Then add in the Monday night thriller where he led a late comeback in Miami over the Dolphins, which got people buzzing. However, the other games he played during the season revealed Levis’ weaknesses, mainly during his second start against the Pittsburgh Steelers, where he finished with a 33.5 QBR. Only five quarterbacks in 2023 had a touchdown rate of two percent or less in 2023, and Levis was one of them joining the list that included Zach Wilson, Easton Stick, Trevor Siemian, and Bryce Young. That’s not exactly a list you’d want to be part of.
When using the tool much of the community uses to examine Dynasty value, Levis is being valued as QB21 and the 86th overall player on KeepTradeCut (KTC) right now in SuperFlex leagues. Here are some other players he’s also being valued near, along with where he falls in the quarterback landscape.

With Levis’ value being so low, his value could spike as a sell-high option early in the 2024 season. Currently, Levis is being valued as a low-end QB2 with upside as he’s just a 24-year-old starter. All it would take is an impressive preseason with a couple of big play highlights or a strong first few games of the regular season, and his value would escalate. Right now, the cost to acquire him is in the range of an early second-round pick (2024 Pick 2.01). If he can start the regular season strong, he’ll be worth a future first-round pick for the right owner, especially if they have an injury, and this would be an immediate return on investment for someone trading for Levis right now.
Knowing when to add or trade away players is key to building your championship Dynasty team and is very similar to the stock market, as every trade you make should add more value to your roster.
Advice
Managers who currently roster Levis and or want to acquire him more than likely see potential and project him to excel this upcoming season. In my opinion, it’s too early to dismiss Levis after his rookie season, as he could still go either way as a prospect, but we’ve seen glimpses that make me want to buy him for the right price. I wouldn’t get too caught up in all the stats, but one that you should keep in mind is that during his first nine NFL starts, he had a 58.4% completion percentage, 85.2 passer rating, and 7.1 yards per attempt average which is very similar to Andrew Luck who had a 57.5% completion percentage, 79.1 passer rating and 7.3 yards per attempt average. I’m not saying Levis will be the next Andrew Luck, but it’s too early to jump to conclusions on his career. So you should either stash him on your bench or build an appealing offer if someone in your league is a Titans fan and make an offer that’s hard to refuse. First, see if a future 2025 second is enough, but don’t be afraid to add a low-end flex player such as a lower-end rookie or someone like Sam Howell, who’s intriguing and might not crack your lineup to sweeten the deal and get something done. It’s always best to keep high-upside talent on your bench, which is a key to strengthening your Dynasty team’s future outlook. With that in mind, Levis could be a foundational piece for 2025 and beyond if he takes the right steps forward this season.

The goal for a Dynasty manager during the 2024 season should be to acquire Levis at a reasonable rate and either enjoy his production as a top young Dynasty quarterback for future years or look to sell him during the early season hype once he starts hot for a 2025 first-round pick. You could also look to package him with other assets to upgrade other areas of your roster. Levis currently is one of the better possible values at the quarterback position as he’s young, has a starting role without much competition, and how his raw skills jump off the tape in terms of being a potential star to build around.
In Conclusion
Whether I’m a contending or rebuilding manager, Levis is someone I would be looking to acquire due to his lower cost right now and potential upside. In addition, the Titans have drastically improved their offense around him in terms of the offensive line and skill position playmakers in what appears to be setting him up for success in his second year. The additions from free agency and the draft by selecting left tackle JC Latham to sure up the offensive line and adding weapons around him with Calvin Ridley, Tony Pollard, and Tyler Boyd to go with DeAndre Hopkins and Tyjae Spears will strike fear in opposing defenses.
To add to that, I love the Brian Callahan hire, who’s the son of former legendary offensive line coach Bill Callahan and comes over from the Cincinnati Bengals. Callahan has experience working with fellow top quarterback Joe Burrow. Most importantly, the offensive scheme will also be moving from being one of the run-heaviest teams in the league after losing Derrick Henry to more of a traditional offense and be more pass-happy, which in terms of opportunity should also only increase the dependence and value of Levis.
Now that the Titans have built a strong wide receiver room, it’s up to Levis to prove if he’ll be a starting-caliber NFL quarterback or another middle-of-the-road backup around the league. The Titans are building around Levis, and in my opinion, Dynasty managers should be looking to do the same. There would be no better QB3 on your SF Dynasty team than having a young starter with the upside that he possesses. I would be looking to acquire Levis at a reasonable cost whether I was a rebuilding or contenting Dynasty manager. With all the talent coming into the NFL this season at the quarterback position, now is the time to buy into Levis so that you’ll be able to build a powerhouse team in the future. If there’s ever a time for Levis to succeed, the time is now. Go buy Levis because if this player is going to become a solid starting quarterback or better, the window to buy him will only be open for a few more months. Add him to Dynasty rosters now, as he can become one foundation of your championship-caliber roster.
