Week 10 Dynasty Waiver Wire

Hello DFF members, my name is Chris and this year I will be writing the weekly dynasty waiver adds piece. In this article I will be writing about players that I feel should be owned in much higher quantities in your dynasty leagues. I will try to stick to low ownership percentages, around 30% or less, but if there is a guy above that, who I think should be owned significantly more, I will include them as well. I will be focusing on a 12-team, full PPR, Superflex set-up for these articles but the players I am choosing should apply in 10-team leagues as well. Without further ado, let’s get into the waiver adds.

Salvon Ahmed, RB MIA – 4.88% Owned

FAAB Recommendation: 3-5%

Salvon Ahmed is the clear RB3 on the Dolphins roster. I know this is a very boring statement. However, he is behind two backs, each with a long list of injuries. Furthermore, Miami is a team that likes to run the ball and has a coach with a history of making any RB productive. Ahmed is the perfect end-of-bench stash to hold onto in case an injury or two occurs, and at this point of the season, the dynasty waivers are getting quite thin.

Matt Breida, RB NYG – 24.84% Owned

FAAB Recommendation: 7-9%

Another handcuff, but it is a direct backup this time. Matt Breida is the handcuff for Saquon Barkley, who unfortunately has a reputation for injury. Daboll is running the Giants’ offense through the ground game and (please I hope this does not happen, but) if something were to happen to Saquon, Breida would be the guy. It is surprising to me how a direct backup has such low ownership in dynasty, but take advantage and go stash him this week.

Travis Homer, RB SEA – 13.26% Owned

FAAB Recommendation: 4-7%

Travis Homer is listed as the direct backup to Kenneth Walker and this shows in the box scores as he sees similar carry numbers to Deejay Dallas but also sees more targets. I thought Dallas was the better player but that does not matter, it only matters what the coaches think. So, if I am adding a Seattle RB to stash, Homer gets priority. But, as a side note, do not completely disregard Dallas. If you have an empty spot and no one else on this list is available, Dallas is also worth stashing.

Ameer Abdullah, RB LVR – 11.46% Owned

FAAB Recommendation: 3-5%

I try not to do all of the same positions for these articles but I simply do not see anyone worth mentioning in the other position groups. This is also due to my main strategy in dynasty though. I like to stack up on high-value receivers and then find running backs when possible. These backs are usually low cost and if they get a starting role can be easily sold for a second or third-round rookie pick. Abdullah is just another one of these RBs that is a backup who could see a quick price jump from a Josh Jacobs injury.
