The Dynasty Wire: Week 14

This week and every week going forward we’ll bring you several recommendations for players you should add to your dynasty rosters. We’ll mainly be targeting lower-owned guys who should be available in all but the deepest leagues.

Be sure to check out all of our in-season content right here.

(There will be no recommended FAAB spends in this article, as those decisions always depend on your team’s needs)

Danny Amendola (WR – DET)

Fantasy playoffs are here and that leaves anyone left with very thin choices on the waiver wire. Amendola is one of the few pieces left on waivers worth an add. He’s received five or more targets in three of the last four games. Amendola is averaging 9.6 yards per target and 8.28 FPPG (PPR).

Keelan Cole (WR – JAC)

Week 14 marks the return of Gardner Minshew which is apparently great news for Keelan Cole. Cole caught seven of 12 targets for 67 yards and a touchdown in the loss to the Titans. He’s received at least five targets in four of the last five games and 2.9 fantasy points per touch, good for first on the team among receivers with at least 20 targets.

Carlos Hyde (RB – SEA)

I’ve seen Hyde dropped in a number of leagues and I assume it’s because Chris Carson is back and looking good. I would still like to have Carson insurance and I would certainly play keep away, if I had the roster space, from those in need of running back help. Hyde still carried the ball 15 times for 66 yards against the Jets. He’s not dead just yet.

Mike Boone (RB – MIN)

You aren’t picking up Mike Boone to play him this week but really just in case Dalvin Cook suffers an untimely injury. We’ve seen the Vikings use multiple running backs when Cook is sidelined and this is the time of year to stock up on handcuffs when possible.

LEAVE ON THE WIRE:

Braxton Berrios (WR – NYJ)

The young slot receiver has been given more opportunity in recent weeks while Jamison Crowder recovers from injuries incurred earlier in the year. But, I’m not sure there is enough fantasy value there worth adding off waivers. The Jets’ offense is inept and Crowder could get healthy any week now.
