2022 DFF Draft Coverage: Jerrion Ealy

While Snoop Conner served as the Rebel’s short-yardage/goal-line rusher, Ealy was used as the “do it all” type of back. He posted consistent numbers, as he topped 700 yards rushing in all three seasons at Ole Miss. On top of scoring 20 rushing touchdowns during his three-year career, Ealy also hauled in four receiving touchdowns and two kick return scores. During his collegiate career, he also hauled in a combined 67 receptions for 545 yards, indicating that he can be a viable third-down option in the NFL.

IDP Crystal Ball Week 8

Your author gives his apologies for not providing this article last week, as the wife needed an unexpected minor surgery. All is well now. As readers know, in this weekly article, we will take a look at a couple of IDP players available in many leagues that appear to show promise or have a foreseeable path to time on the field and production. The hope is that you can acquire these players for free or relatively close to free. It depends on the depth and settings of each individual league. Qualifying players are those available in at least two-thirds of full IDP leagues on MyFantasyLeague.com (MFL).

IDP Post-Rookie Draft Waiver Targets

Each season in dynasty leagues there are post-rookie draft waiver targets that provide a tremendous value for owners who were savvy or lucky enough to find them on their roster. Some provide an immediate “home-run” return like Kamren Curl did last season or Maxx Crosby in 2019. Others make great taxi squad stashes that provide value later (think Jerome Baker, Josey Jewell, Jeffery Simmons, Dre Greenlaw, D.J. Wonnum, Alex Highsmith, etc.). The majority will fall flat as expected.

Taxi Squad Spring Cleaning: Part 1

In this series of articles, I’ll be taking a look at rookies from the 2019 class that can be removed from your taxi squads to make room for 2020 rookies. These are players that all have little to no dynasty value, but those dynasty owners selected in at least some 2019 rookie drafts. I’ll reference my 2019 rookie rankings from late May to give an idea of where I valued these players. My rankings are for a 1QB, PPR format.
