Paul’s Picks: DFS Week 13

Sticking with last week’s format, I’ll be focusing on my favorite games for the Week 13 main slate that I believe offer the best game environments and stacking opportunities. As you read, please note that the player names in bold are what I consider my “core” players or guys that I’m sliding into a large percentage of my lineups. Oh, and if you’re new to DFS, you should check out my DFS Tips and Tricks article here.

Start/Sit Week 13

Each and every week, I’ll be covering a handful of players that I believe will either exceed expectations or let your team down in a major way. Here’s who you should be looking at for Week 13.

It feels wrong, but Mitchell Trubisky is a perfectly fine streamer this week. Trubisky put up solid numbers in the team’s loss to Green Bay, and he should be a solid QB2 against the Lions in Week 13. Detroit is allowing the 7th most fantasy points and passing yards per game.

Paul’s Picks: DFS Week 12

Let’s do something different this week. Instead of breaking down every game on the main slate, I’ll be focusing on five games in particular that I believe offer the best game environments and stacking opportunities. As you read, please note that the player names in bold are what I consider my “core” players or guys that I’m sliding into a large percentage of my lineups. Start/Sit Week 12

Last week, I told you to start the wrong Saints’ QB. I won’t be making that mistake twice. In his first start, Taysom Hill proved he’s at least somewhat competent as a passer. He completed 18 of 23 passes for 233 yards, and at least 1 of those incompletions was a drop. With his high rushing floor, Hill should be startable in most matchups until Drew Brees returns.

Paul’s Picks: DFS Week 11

Most of the games this week project to be low-scoring, but some of them will undoubtedly become shootouts. In this article, I’ll be breaking down all eleven matchups on the main slate, sharing my thoughts on player prices* and stacking opportunities. As you read, please note that the player names in bold are what I consider my “core” players or guys that I’m sliding into a large percentage of my lineups. Start/Sit Week 11

Each and every week, I’ll be covering a handful of players that I believe will either exceed expectations or let your team down in a major way. Here’s who you should be looking at for Week 11.

Jameis Winston is expected to start for the Saints while Drew Brees recovers from fractured ribs. Despite his propensity for interceptions, Winston has been an incredibly relevant fantasy option in recent years. He’s stepping into an ideal matchup against the Falcons, who have allowed 300 passing yards in eight of nine games this season. He’s at least a low-end QB1 this week.

There are a handful of great RB plays this week, but you’ll have to be creative if you want to differentiate yourself from the pack. Start/Sit Week 10

Each and every week, I’ll be covering a handful of players that I believe will either exceed expectations or let your team down in a major way. Here’s who you should be looking at for Week 10.

The last time we saw Carson Wentz, he didn’t look great. He turned the ball over four times against the Cowboys and threw for less than 150 yards. However, Wentz topped 21 fantasy points four times from Weeks 3 to 7. He already has 5 rushing TDs this season, and with Fulgham, Reagor, Jeffery, Goedert, and Sanders all expected to play in Week 10, he’ll have his best supporting cast of the season.

Start/Sit Week 9

Each and every week, I’ll be covering a handful of players that I believe will either exceed expectations or let your team down in a major way. Here’s who you should be looking at for Week 9. Sterling Shepard immediately became Daniel Jones’ favorite target when he returned to the lineup in Week 7. In the past two weeks, he’s been targeted 8 and 10 times, respectively, for 133 yards and a TD. Shepard will be a flex-worthy option in all PPR formats for as long as he can maintain this volume.

Start/Sit Week 8

Each and every week, I’ll be covering a handful of players that I believe will either exceed expectations or let your team down in a major way. Here’s who you should be looking at for Week 8.

If Miles Sanders is forced to miss another week, Boston Scott is a must-start. He handled 70% of the Eagles’ RB opportunities against the Giants in Week 7, racking up over 90 total yards and scoring the game-winning TD. The Cowboys’ defense has been abused at every turn this season, and Scott has a three-down skillset. Don’t overthink this one.

Each and every week, I’ll be covering a handful of players that I believe will either exceed expectations or let your team down in a major way. Here’s who you should be looking at for Week 7. In terms of points per game, Justin Herbert is the QB8. Through four games, Herbert has 10 total TDs, and he’s averaging nearly 300 passing yards per game. You can trust the rookie against Jacksonville’s atrocious defense in Week 7.

Start/Sit Week 5

Each and every week, I’ll be covering a handful of players that I believe will either exceed expectations or let your team down in a major way. Here’s who you should be looking at for Week 5. This one should go without saying, but please start Kareem Hunt. He will operate as the undisputed lead back in Cleveland while Nick Chubb is on IR. Despite a tough matchup against the Colts’ much-improved defense, Hunt should be considered an RB1 this week and every week until Chubb returns.

Each and every week, I’ll be covering a handful of players that I believe will either exceed expectations or let your team down in a major way. Here’s who you should be looking at for Week 4. Minshew flopped against the Dolphins on Thursday Night Football, but I’m going back to the well in Week 4. He’s got a soft matchup against the Bengals, and the return of D.J. Chark should give the whole offense a boost.

Paul’s Picks: DFS Week 3

Building lineups on a slate without Christian McCaffrey, Saquon Barkley, Lamar Jackson, Patrick Mahomes, Michael Thomas, Davante Adams, Tyreek Hill, Travis Kelce, or Mark Andrews feels incredibly strange. Despite the absence of those cap-hogging superstars, there are plenty of great options at each position in Week 3. I’ll be breaking down all thirteen matchups, sharing my thoughts on player prices* and stacking opportunities. Start/Sit Week 3

Each and every week, I’ll be covering a handful of players that I believe will either exceed expectations or let your team down in a major way. Here’s who you should be looking at for Week 3. To start, I’ve determined that Gardner Minshew is good at football. He completed 95% of his passes in Week 1, and he’s thrown for 3 TDs in back-to-back games. Now he’s up against a Dolphins defense that just allowed Josh Allen to throw for over 400 yards and 4 TDs. Roll out Minshew as a QB1 this week.
