Under the Radar: Week 15 IDP Starters

I look weekly at a few options for your lineups on players who are under a 50% start rate on MFL. These players can help you for a spot starter. Good luck this week!

Lawrence Timmons, LB, Miami Dolphins – Start %  45

Timmons is averaging 5 tackles over the last 4 games. It shows that he has been a steady performer. With the running Bills coming up I like him to go over that average. Buffalo will run the ball in his direction; if he can get off the blocks he should get around the ball more than usual and this will make him a sweet sleeper for you.

T.J. Watt, LB, Pittsburgh Steelers – Starting % 46

Watt is a high-risk, high reward or a heartbreaker this week. Pittsburgh will need to get to Tom Brady, and Watt will be a crucial player. Two of his last three games (Cincinnati being the odd game out) he has gotten a few stops and a sack. In my big play scoring leagues, I am starting him in my LB 3 and 4 slots. Worth the gamble!

Zach Vigil, LB, Washington Redskins – Starting % not listed

Major sleeper appeal here. Stepping in for Zach Brown I love his chances to jump in and produce this week. Spot starter and a cheap one for you.

Marcus Maye, S, New York Jets –  Starting % 35

One of the season’s surprises. He’s been playing well and has the high-powered Saints this week. Patrolling the secondary, he should sneak above his average scoring this week. Against some of the better offenses in the league, he has averaged 5 tackles and this Saints offense; it is elite! Plenty of opportunities await all over the field.

Good luck in your playoff games! If you’re looking for some CB options, we have plenty on our weekly rankings. Weekly start and sits are available here. Feel free to hit me up any time on Twitter, @DFF_JohnIDP
