What to Watch For:
Will the Rams offense continue to succeed against Dallas?
Jared Goff and company have so far, the most points scored in the NFL through 3 weeks. Whether it is the change of the scheme in their offense or just the teams they happen to run into the first 3 weeks, they get to play “America’s team” this week and see if they can keep things humming. The Dallas defense isn’t very scary and L. A. should look to keep Todd Gurley rolling.
Todd Gurley & Sammy Watkins
Coming into week 4, Dallas has allowed the 9th most fantasy points to running backs in PPR leagues and Todd Gurley already has as many TDs through 3 games as he did all last year. Gurley should return some solid production and same for Sammy Watkins. Dallas is also allowing the 6th most PPR points to wide receivers and Sammy Watkins is coming off a superb game. Coming off the long week, hopefully he can clear concussion protocol and be ready to rock.
Dak Prescott and the ‘Boys
Dak Prescott has been getting it done for the Cowboys so far this season, but it still hasn’t been enough. Dez Bryant has been up against elite coverage and Ezekiel Elliott has faced the stacked box often. Dez should rebound with some nice numbers this week against a Rams defense that allowed the 49ers receivers to hang up 10 catches for 208 yards.
What’s left of the Cardinals
Carson Palmer and Larry Fitzgerald seem to be the last men standing in Arizona. Fitzgerald is still a solid PPR threat and Palmer is a decent spot play at QB depending on the matchup. Palmer should get the start on your fantasy squad if your other QB has a poor outlook. Personally, I would stay away from any Cardinal RB, but with John Brown and possibly J.J. Nelson out, Jaron Brown would be a sneaky FLEX play.
Seattle’s WR carousel
Russell Wilson has started airing out the ball more than he has in the past in order to preserve what he has left in the tank. The fog of war surrounds anyone who has Seattle WRs rostered as Doug Baldwin is questionable for Sunday. If he sits out, Paul Richardson and Tyler Lockette will fight for the target share. Both are great starts if Baldwin sits.
Los Angeles Rams 20 at Dallas Cowboys 28
The Cowboys come back home after being on the road the last 2 weeks and the 49ers just showed last week that maybe the Rams defense isn’t that scary.
San Francisco 49ers 17 at Arizona Cardinals 24
Arizona will get their first win of the season in this inter-division matchup. Both teams know each other well and the NFC West is known to really beat each other up and grind games out. Look for Palmer potentially put up another 300+ game.
Indianapolis Colts 10 at Seattle Seahawks 34
Seattle’s offense finally showed some life last week by hurrying things up. Look for them to continue to keep things rolling against a team that doesn’t have a lot of talent on their roster. The Seachickens should have no problems this weekend.
