It is that time of the week again. Time to look at your leagues and cover your injured players and, some deep bench support. Playoffs are here, so it’s money time. Our IDP team will offer up a few players you should be targeting. It kills me when I see zero scores in lineups or just starting a guy because you drafted him with high hopes. Pressed for time? We have your back! Good luck and happy hunting.
Carlos Watkins, DT, Houston Texans
Has been taking on blocks and letting the LBs roam. Has averaged 2 tackles a game and in DT premium and leagues that start 2, is capable of producing if your looking. Talented kid who would also be worth an add for next season.
Leonard Johnson, CB, Buffalo Bills
Tom Brady and company will be looking to keep the Bills defense off balance, the pass will be a factor, and I think they will put it up often. The battle up front will ultimately decide this one but, Johnson will battle, much like last week, and have a healthy tackle number.
Desmond King, CB, Los Angeles Chargers
Talk about a game changer in IDP leagues; this kid has been putting up lofty numbers. Goes after the QB, knocks down passes, gets the big play interceptions, AND tackles! Even with the Jets up next, I would be more than happy to have him starting for me. In fact, in my leagues where We start 3 corners, I will be playing him this week for the Glory. Shocked he is not owned in more leagues.
Jordan Evans, LB, Cincinnati Bengals
The past 4 weeks have been very productive for Evans. He has 28 total tackles in those 4 games and has filled in for injuries to Vontaze Burfict and Nick Vigil. Marvin Lewis could be on his way out of Cincinnati, and the team is not headed to the playoffs so Evans could continue to get playing time even when Burfict is healthy.
Quincy Wilson, CB, Indianapolis Colts
The rookie, Wilson, suffered an injury in Week 2 that has cost him much of the season, but last week recorded 7 solos against the Broncos. The Colts don’t face the fiercest passing game next week but is an addition to possibly stash for next season.
