IDP Stock Market Weekly: Week 11 Edition
We’re closing in on the playoffs for fantasy leagues. This is a critical time as owners are making moves to position their team for a championship run or looking towards next season. Here are a few players that you should be looking at buying or selling. I wish everyone the best of luck, and may this be the beginning of your quest for the championship!
DE, Chris Jones, Kansas City Chiefs
Mr. Jones has been as hot as any player in fantasy right now. He has had at least one sack in six straight games and has seven total in that span. In sack heavy scoring leagues, he has been a huge play each week. These hot streaks don’t come around often, so take advantage of it and enjoy. Investment Rating (4)
LB, Leighton Vander Esch, Dallas Cowboys
With the always injured Sean Lee out for the next month, Vander Esch gets a prime opportunity to show out. He had thirteen tackles and an interception in last weeks start versus the Philadelphia Eagles. He’ll get to hunt another group of birds this week in the Atlanta Falcons. Don’t miss out on the big numbers he will give you. Investment Rating (4)
LB, Wesley Woodyard, Tennessee Titans
Woodyard has played lights out since the bye week. In the two games since then, he recorded eighteen tackles and two and a half sacks. He’ll get to face the Indianapolis Colts this week and should have another big game. Investment Rating (4)
LB, Roquan Smith, Chicago Bears
The rookie linebacker looks to be the next Monster of the Midway. In the last two games, he has recorded twenty-two tackles and one sack. He’s been a tackling machine for the Bears and has another good matchup this week versus the Vikings. Get him in your lineups and reap the rewards. Investment Rating (4)
DE, Jason Pierre Paul, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
JPP returns to New York to face his old team, the Giants. Even though he’s been nonexistent the past two weeks, make no mistake he will be fired up for this matchup. He has played extremely well this season, as he recorded eight sacks through the first eight games of the season. This week he gets back on track and will harass Eli all game.
Liquidate / Sell
DE, Tak McKinnley, Atlanta Falcons
After a strong start to the season, Tak has been invisible the last few games. Over the last two games, he has not one single recordable stat. Until he can get back on track, get him out of your lineups. Liquidation Rating (4)
DT, Kyle Williams, Buffalo Bills
Williams is another player that started the season off strong but has cooled off considerably. Over the last four games, he’s only been able to manage five total tackles. At a position that’s already hard to find production, Williams is a must-sit. Liquidation Rating (3)
LB, Rueben Foster, San Francisco 49ers
Foster become Vontaze Burfict 2.0. Between the suspensions and the injuries, he has become just impossible to trust. When he has been on the field, he hasn’t played like a big star. Foster is an absolute must sit, and I would try to trade him and get something I can rely on or need. Don’t waste your roster spots on woulda, coulda, shoulda’s. Liquidation Rating (2)
