IDP By The Numbers: NFC Week 2

Rather than doing a full, 5,000-word snap count thread every week, we’re going to simplify things a little bit. You don’t need me to tell you Bobby Wagner is playing 100% of snaps every week. So we’re just going to hit on the important numbers and any trends we’re starting to see.Arizona Cardinals1,336 – Snap pace for Jordan Hicks and DJ Swearinger. Expecting 16 games from Hicks is a mistake and the pace will slow down without more OT games. Antoine Bethea led the Cardinals with 1,111 snaps last season. Typically there are a few players who top 1,100 snaps every season. Hicks and Swearinger being on pace for 1,300 snaps, would mean they would play almost four more games’ worth of snaps than the typical highest seasonal snap total.
