Dynasty Analysis
In light of LeSean McCoy’s recent release, our writers had a spirited discussion that nobody thought was likely to ever occur four months ago. So in the spirit of “8 Mile”, @DFF_Mike2 and @DFF_Biscuits have decided to have a rap battle about two rookie RBs. Is Miles Sanders or Devin Singletary the better asset in dynasty leagues for year one, for 2020 and beyond, or both?
More times than not in redraft leagues, following Week 1 of the fantasy football season, a player appears.A player, although nearly forgotten in all drafts, is now so sought after that whoever holds the first waiver spot has the opportunity to claim a player, who not only holds value over players drafted rounds deep into the draft, but could essentially change the league’s season narrative. Sometimes these players are exactly what you’d hope they would be. Devonta Freeman, Alvin Kamara, and Phillip Lindsay are a few of these home-run, undrafted gems.
In this weekly article, “Starts, Sleepers & Sits Week,” I will bring you starts; locked and loaded, plug and play and don’t look back players who should have huge weeks., Sleepers; under the radar/low owned players who will vastly outproduce their weekly expectation, pick these guys up and wrack up the points, and sits; guys to leave on the bench this week thanks to a bad match-up or having the odds stacked against them. To help your week one preparation we have starts sits, and sleepers at quarterback, running back and wide receiver.
DraftKings offers a turbo section for the Sunday mid-day clip. Just another way to win money but it starts fast and ends even faster. You can draft players from a select number of evening games. We’ll take a look at the matchups and figure out the best players to pick and go over the players you should avoid. Let’s take a look at the matchups!
Finally, football season has returned, bringing the return of fantasy football along with it. You know, the wonderful game that allows us to draft our dream teams that we all know and love — or hate if we drafted Andrew Luck this year. Speaking of dream teams, that’s exactly what this article will be covering, the Dream Team format on the Draft fantasy football app.
This article is meant to be a quick recap of news from the last week, thoughts going into each week’s games, notes on injuries, guys to put on your radar, etc. It’ll be a quick article every week because we’re all busy Sunday mornings.
I’ll be looking at three player props that I feel have a strong chance of paying out. This article will run the gamut and will include bets such as passing yard totals, the first player to score, and even total tackles for those who love defense.
Football is back and that means it is time to make some money in the world of DFS. Below are a few players I am loving this week at their given DraftKings values. Quarterback Carson Wentz – $5,700 He is back and he is healthy. Over his past 16 played games, Wentz has a stat […]
Over at Yahoo Daily Fantasy Sports, they’re kicking off the NFL season with a $1,000,000 GPP tournament that pays out $100,000 to the first-place finisher. In our effort here at Dynasty Football Factory to comprehensively cover and provide analysis on the entire DFS landscape each week, I’m breaking down the best options on Yahoo for both GPPs and Cash games in Week 1. One important thing to note about Yahoo is that unlike some other DFS platforms, the Sunday main slate also includes the Pittsburgh Steelers @ New England Patriots game on Sunday night so there a few extra guys in the player pool to consider. For those just getting started on Yahoo, the scoring system is most similar to FanDuel (.5 point PPR), while the lineup makeup is exactly the same as the two major sites. The biggest difference is pricing, where instead of dealing with thousands of dollars, the budget is just $200 and players are generally priced between $10 (minimum) and the low $40 range. Now that you know the drill, let’s take a look at the Week 1 plays.
The wait is finally over, football is here, and I couldn’t be happier. As excited as I am about the start of real football, it’s the start of DFS that has me over the edge. After four weeks of painful preseason DFS, it’s time to get to the real thing and decide who we’ll be putting in our lineups come Sunday. I always look at Week 1 as a big DFS week because if you hit big, it can really set you up well for the rest of the year. So, without further ado, here my top DFS plays in on FanDuel for Week 1 of the NFL season.
Playing DFS on Fan Duel in Week 1? Cash Game Picks? @DFF_StevenA gives you the best plays, including the best deals for this weekends slate.
You made it!Week 1 of the NFL season is upon us and we’re running down some of the best GPP options for the DraftKings main slate of games. With four games playing off the main slate this week a number of fantasy studs, particularly at the wide receiver position, aren’t part of the player pool. While that could lead to some concentrated ownership in certain spots, the beauty of Week 1 is that the player pool and pricing has been out for over a month now, and with so many differing opinions about how not just this week, but this entire season will play out, ownership is likely to be very spread out across the slate.
Well, the new season is upon us and this is year three of me doing this weekly stock market series. Hopefully, my suggestions have steered you in the right direction and improved your IDP portfolios. NFL teams and fantasy owners are finalizing their rosters. Lots of questions have now been answered and things have become more clear. With those answers in place, we can now look at whose stock went up / down and what this means for your team. I wish everyone the best of luck and may this be the beginning of your quest for the championship!
I was humbled when I was asked to participate in the DFF Redraft Championship. I must have endeared myself to them with my proclivity for win-now squads in dynasty. I’ve never written about a redraft team or league before, so be gentle. Here goes nothing! My look back at my initial draft strategy for the league.
If you’re looking for which players to use from Thursday Night Football’s Bears vs. Packers game you’ve come to the right place. DFF gives you the locks, sleepers and players you should avoid in DFS action.
That’s right, business is about to pick up in Dallas! Elliott has officially signed a six-year extension for $90m, with approximately half of it guaranteed. As stated in Rapoport’s tweet, this locks up Elliott for the next 8 years at a (Dallas Cowboys) record-setting contract of over $100m, and the highest running back contract ever.
As I have progressed through my series of Dynasty Outlooks in recent weeks, one pairing that kept coming up time and time again from the fantasy community was Corey Davis vs. A.J. Brown. This was my first dive into a comparative piece that takes into account an incoming rookie who yet to play a single […]
Just the two boys back together again. The gangs all […]
In this draft full of talented DFF writers, I planned to just try and grab value at each selection as much as possible. There have been some trades and acquisitions since the draft, but I’ll walk you through my strategy as the draft took place. I had the #1 overall pick, so I’ll go through the draft at each turn and discuss what I was thinking.
Josh Gordon is ready to make his return. With him available in Week 1 what should we expect Gordon in 2019? Lewis Glover looks at Gordon’s history with Tom Brady and the Patriots to help determine what we can anticipate in fantasy.
The NFL rosters are down to 53. Some of our offseason darlings are currently on a practice squad or still out on the street. Post cut fallout, here are some waiver adds that you can make to kick off the season. IDP can be a tough mountain to climb, and the waiver wire can be a great way to gain an advantage in your league.
