Dynasty Analysis
Freddie Kitchens was the first head coach to be fired, and the Browns couldn’t even wait until Black Monday to do it. What went wrong in Cleveland and what’s the fantasy impact of Kitchens getting the ax? We take a look at these questions and more in this instant impact review.
With the college bowl season in full swing and I began to dig deep into my draft prep, I thought I would take the time to go over some of the potential prospects at the cornerback position. Keep in mind, this just who I have watched to this point so far. As I watch more […]
I’ll be looking at three player props that I think have a strong chance of paying out. This article will run the gamut and will include bets such as ‘passing yard totals,’ ‘first player to score,’ and even ‘total tackles’ for those who love defense.
For this article, I will provide analysis on three bets that I feel have the best chance at netting you a nice payday. Whether it be due to matchups, injuries, or other factors, these are the three bets I feel the most confident in placing. I will also make predictions on the rest of the week’s spreads. To keep myself accountable, I’ll be keeping track of my wins and losses on the three bets I provide analysis on. I’ll also make sure to track the rest of my picks as well.
Before the season started I pegged Bush as my favorite to win Defensive Rookie of the Year honors. He started the season like he was shot out of a rocket, but seemed to slow or hit the rookie wall in the second half. He still made this list on a weekly basis and ended up as one of the top rookies for 2019.
Too often when playing dynasty fantasy football we get enamored with being able to buy low on players. Don’t get me wrong. Buying low on a player is a sound strategy. But sometimes players are worth the full cost of their market value. In even rarer cases some players are worth overpaying for. Even overpaying is a relative term. If you overpay today for a player who turns into a perennial WR1/RB1 in the future, did you really overpay? What someone sees as an overpay today could be looked at completely differently next season. I’m a strong proponent of paying up to acquire players when I believe they will be long-term fantasy studs. One such player that fits that definition for me is D.J. Moore.
During the just completed fantasy season, I thought about the fantasy scoring that stems from bad offenses. Specifically, wide receiver scoring from poor passing offenses. I suspect that the wide receiver from a bad offense who scores the most fantasy points isn’t a particularly good long term fantasy asset. Though that seems intuitive, I wanted to take a look through history to see if this thought is correct. Gathering data is instructive.
In fantasy football, the tight end position is somewhat of an enigma. Most leagues require you to start at least one, which is hard enough by itself. Other leagues, for whatever reason (all kidding aside), require you to start two. While the elite tight ends are usually pretty easy to identify, they require significant draft capital to acquire and cost you valuable depth at other positions on your roster.
I’m not asking for anything in return for my great behavior, but if you were to reward me, I have a few things in mind. Dynasty Santa, here is my Dynasty Wish List.
Every week this series will attempt to bring clarity to the goings-on, both on and off the field within each NFL Division so that dynasty owners can make championship level decisions based on our actionable information. Our writers will be digging through data and film for inference on coach/front office decision making so that they can keep you equipped with the “nuggets” you need to succeed.
For each position, I will give two streamers that are under 40% owned. These ownership percentages come from ESPN at the time of writing, typically Sunday night or Monday morning. I’ll start with quarterback, followed by tight end, then D/ST.

This series kicked off with Corey Davis, a player that has never lived up to his draft capital. Today we continue with a player who it can be argued has outperformed his draft capital (NFL and fantasy), but I’m still moving on from him.
In this piece, I will cover what redraft players can do right now, assuming you’re not focused on participating in championship week. Even if you are in the championship, you could still take some of this advice, but of course, you should primarily focus on grabbing those titles in week 16.
This week’s interview is with a super talented and versatile Coray Williams of Wesley College. The Senior safety was gracious enough to give us a few minutes and discuss his football career, beginning from his Pee Wee days through his college career. Let’s dive right into the interview.

If you’re reading this week, it’s likely because you made it to your league’s fantasy football championship. Congratulations! And if you’re playing for consolation prizes, best of luck this week. Don’t forget. There are a trio of games on the Saturday slate this week, so make sure those lineups are set on time!
Back in August, I wrote a retrospective of the draft for the DFF Redraft Championship. My draft and the analysis and thought behind it can be found here. In this article, I will compare my Week 1 roster to my Week 13 roster.

Well, if you have made it to this week and still playing, a huge congratulations to you. This is the championship game week for almost all leagues. Hopefully, my suggestions have steered you in the right direction and improved your IDP portfolios. This week is for all the marbles, so let’s take a look at your stocks and see which net assets are worth keeping or buying and which ones need to be liquidated. But more importantly, let’s see which stocks are championship-worthy. I wish everyone the best of luck to you with your quest for the championship!
