Dynasty Vet Values – Volume 3

Welcome back, Dynasty Football managers! Throughout the season, itโ€™s essential to continually evaluate rosters to determine which players to trade for or cut ties with. With this, itโ€™s time for Volume 3 of Dynasty Vet Values for 2025. In this series, Iโ€™ll be analyzing veteran players who are excellent targets for your contending teams based on current Dynasty market value and NFL weekly Pick’em. We all know youth and longevity are essential to remain competitive in Dynasty. But the ultimate goal is to win fantasy championships, and sometimes that means acquiring that โ€œwin-nowโ€ asset who may be past his prime.

Iโ€™ll be using KeepTradeCut (KTC) to determine each playerโ€™s current market value. This is a crowdsourced Dynasty ranking site, providing us with a great idea of where the community stands. Letโ€™s dive right in and allow me to help you by suggesting the players that youโ€™d be wise to acquire in Dynasty Fantasy Football right now. Characteristics I like to keep in mind this time of year when targeting players are to ensure theyโ€™re on winning teams with top offenses and play an important role in those specific offenses. Additionally, now is a great time to buy players to be ahead of the curve, and youโ€™ll have these productive players for longer during your stretch run.

Javonte Williams (RB – DAL) | KTC Rank: RB17 (RB6 overall)

Once considered a top Dynasty running back, Javonte Williams is now one of the best-priced buys in all of Dynasty Fantasy Football right now. All Williams has done this year is produce, and heโ€™s been consistent in doing so. Heโ€™s averaged 17.32 fantasy points per game (Full-PPR) and has only two games below 12 fantasy points on the year. In Week 9 versus the Cardinals, he had his worst performance of the year with 7.30 fantasy points (Full-PPR), but his highest outcome came in Week 5 against the Jets when he had 26.90 fantasy points (Full-PPR). Heโ€™s scored multiple touchdowns in three games this season. What makes him even more valuable is his role with little competition in the Cowboys’ offense, and the fact that heโ€™s a true three-down player. In every game this season, heโ€™s received a target, and he has three games with over five targets. Williams finally looks to be healthy after he suffered a serious knee injury back during the 2022 season, tearing his ACL, LCL, and posterolateral corner. Since then, he really hasnโ€™t looked the same after showing so much promise early in his NFL career, coming out of the University of North Carolina and being the second round (35th overall selection) in the 2021 NFL Draft. After falling out of favor with the Denver Broncos coaching staff this past offseason, he signed a one-year prove-it contract with the Dallas Cowboys for only three million dollars. There have already been rumors of a possible extension for him in Dallas. And if this is true, Williamsโ€™ Dynasty football value will skyrocket playing as the lead running back behind one of the best offensive lines and total offenses in all of football.

Williamsโ€™ dual-thread ability provides an excellent floor every week. In the 2025 season, Williams has consistently shown that heโ€™s healthy and can still produce elite RB1-type production. In 2025, heโ€™s proving to be one of the most valuable players. The way heโ€™s playing in the Cowboys offense, Williams should be a lock to finish as a top ten RB as long as he stays healthy, and if so, should be considered at least a top fifteen Dynasty running back. This season, heโ€™s 1 of 5 running backs who have averaged 4.00+ YAC/attempt, and heโ€™s averaging career highs in YPC and YAC/attempt. Still only 25 years old, Williams has produced at an elite level. Williams is a great value as heโ€™s the RB6, but production-wise, he’s RB17 (Full-PPR), which aligns with a late 2026 first-round pick or early 2026 second-round pick. Acquire him at this price to help your contending Dynasty team take the next step to building your championship roster at a very cost-efficient price.

Michael Pittman (WR – IND) | KTC Rank: WR29 (WR6 overall)

Michael Pittman is one of the better veteran buys right now in Dynasty Fantasy Football, who still has some tread left on the tires. Heโ€™s having a career year, and why not target the WR1 from one of the NFLโ€™s best offenses from the hottest team in the league? Besides last season, Pittman has always been an underrated WR who finished inside the top twenty at his position until last season. Once an afterthought after last season, Pittman, mostly due to the awful mess that was the Colts QB situation last year, has now had a resurgence, like most under the new QB, Daniel Jones. He is already tied for his career high in touchdowns, with six, and has an excellent rapport with Jones. Heโ€™s currently on track for 1,000 yards and 13 touchdowns in an offense thatโ€™s scoring a league high in points. Pittman is one of the focal points in an offense that ranks first in several categories, such as points per game and total yards per game. Most impressive about Pittman is that heโ€™s been pretty consistent this season, with only two games with ten or fewer fantasy points, and heโ€™s averaging 16.23 fantasy points (Full-PPR) on the year. He has four performances of twenty or more fantasy points, and his best game came in Week 8 with 23.50 fantasy points (Full-PPR), as he finished with 8 catches on 9 targets for 95 yards and a touchdown.

Itโ€™s easy to picture a top-10 or top-15 finish at worst for Pittman this season. Heโ€™s a very solid player who is the Coltsโ€™ clear WR1 and target share leader, making him a valuable asset in PPR. I consider Pittman a great buy because he provides consistency this year in a high-powered offense. Pittman is a great value as heโ€™s currently the WR29, which aligns closely with a late 2026 first-round pick or early 2026 second-round pick. Heโ€™s a great buy as his price hasnโ€™t yet caught up to his production. I would have no problem making this type of deal, given the upside consistency that heโ€™ll bring every week. This is helped by the fact that Pittman is 28 years old, but at this age, heโ€™s still in the prime of his career and should have some good years left, especially if the Colts can keep QB Daniel Jones around and playing at a high level. Acquire him at this price to help your contending Dynasty team take the next step to building your championship roster at a very cost-efficient price.ย

adams

Davante Adams (WR – LAR) | KTC Rank: WR34 (WR8 overall)

The ageless wonder who ages like fine wine, Davante Adams, is having another strong season after signing with the Rams in the offseason. The future HOFโ€™er, even at the age of 32, is producing with his new QB, Matthew Stafford. Even playing second fiddle to Puka Nacua, who was having a career-type season before missing a game with an ankle injury, the Rams have proven to support two WRs in fantasy football consistently. Additionally, one of football’s most important statistics that doesnโ€™t show up on paper is his availability, as he has minimal injury concerns. Adams is currently averaging 16.64 fantasy points (Full-PPR) and has been very consistent. He has only two games under ten fantasy points and three games over fifteen fantasy points. Adamsโ€™ best game came in Week 7 when he had a 26.50 fantasy points (Full-PPR) output, where he had 5 catches on 8 targets for 35 yards and 3 touchdowns, which came when Nacua was hurt. But even when Nacua was in the lineup, what is very impressive is that Adams has two games with over ten targets. He had 13 targets in Week 2 and 11 targets in Week 5. Adams has always been one of Dynasty Fantasy Footballโ€™s most consistent and productive players, and this season is no different. Just now being an older player, heโ€™s one of the smartest veteran buys in Dynasty Fantasy Football.ย

There are also only two players who have 14 or more endzone targets this season, and those are Davante Adams and George Pickens. Additionally, Adams leads all players in redzone targets with 19. Impressively, no other player has more than 8, and only 12 players have more than 5, further adding to Adamsโ€™ value. Adams is also 5th amongst WRs in fantasy points per reception at 3.44. These statistics provide you with a solid floor every week and a ceiling that can win your weekly matchups. Itโ€™s easy to picture Adams finishing as a top 10-12 WR this season, and the volume in a productive offense makes Adams very valuable. Iโ€™d look to acquire him and then reap the benefits afterwards. Adams is a consistent WR2 who, every week, can put up WR1-type numbers. Heโ€™s currently valued as the WR34, which is in line with an early 2026 second-round pick. With the 2026 Dynasty class not being as highly touted as other years, this is an easy buy decision. Go with the proven player and acquire him at this price for your contending Dynasty team to take the next step to building your championship roster at a reasonable price. Adams has league-winning potential, and he needs to be on your roster over your league mates.ย

Jake Ferguson (TE – DAL) | KTC Rank: TE8 (TE2 overall)

Having an elite tight end is a Dynasty Fantasy Football cheat code. And Jake Ferguson can provide exactly that on a highly productive offense for a reasonable price. Having production, especially at the TE position, where itโ€™s typically hard to find, is key. Ferguson, at 26 years old, and the fact that he was coming off a down year where the entire Cowboys offense was a mess last season, heโ€™s being discounted within the Dynasty community. Thatโ€™s not the case this year as the entire Cowboys offense is humming, led by a healthy Dak Prescott at quarterback. Ferguson on the season is averaging 14.27 fantasy points, and heโ€™s ranked as the TE2 (Full-PPR). His best game of the year was in Week 3, where he had 27.70 (Full-PPR) fantasy points, with 13 catches on 14 targets for 82 yards. This kind of production at the tight end position is, in a way, a cheat code for Dynasty Fantasy Football. On top of this, the Cowboys are one of the leagueโ€™s pass-heaviest teams and highest scoring teams, with one of the worst defenses in football, which makes me all in for Ferguson to continue to produce elite numbers. Knowing this, now is the time to acquire him, as he could very well be on his way to being the TE1 by season’s end.ย

Even though Ferguson is in the midst of a career year, heโ€™s exactly the perfect veteran to target to add elite production to help your Dynasty team win a chip this year. He is a potential league winner this season. Most impressive this season is that heโ€™s 4th amongst tight ends with games with a 20% target share. Additionally, heโ€™s one of six TEs that have had at least 5 games with 10 or more fantasy points scored this season, and heโ€™s first on that list with six of those outputs. Ferguson is an unbelievable value, as heโ€™s ranked as TE8 but comes with elite production. This TE8 ranking aligns between a late 2026 first-round pick and an early 2026 2nd-round pick value. Given Fergusonโ€™s monster upside for the rest of this season as a contending team, I would be doing everything I could to make this type of deal. The upside and consistency heโ€™ll bring every week will help push you over the top to winning your Dynasty Fantasy Football league.

Conclusion

As the football season quickly moves along, donโ€™t let your league catch you sleeping, as itโ€™ll cost you in the standings. Buy these veteran players now to build your win-now championship-caliber Dynasty Fantasy Football roster for this season.
