Believe it or not, we are only 20 days away from kicking off the 2017 college football season. Summer is winding down. Kids are heading back to school. We are in the final stretch, but the closer we get to August 26th, the longer the days will feel. We might as well do something to pass the time. Let’s continue our look at our consensus Top 25 Devy prospects with our 20th ranked player – Christian Kirk
Name: Christian Kirk
School: Texas A&M
Weight: 200 lbs
2018 Class: 5
Christian Kirk is nearly the perfect all-around college wide receiver. He is difficult to bring down in space. He can occasionally get behind the defense and help the offense stretch the field. He’s equally dangerous with the ball in his hands on offense and special teams.
After a breakout freshman season in 2015, the narrative was that Kirk had a down year in 2016. Even though he got most of the attention from opposing defenses, he basically duplicated his freshman from a statistical standpoint. His 83 receptions led the Southeastern Conference.
