Believe it or not, we are only 24 days away from kicking off the 2017 college football season. Summer is winding down. Kids are heading back to school. We are in the final stretch, but the closer we get to August 26th, the longer the days will feel. We might as well do something to pass the time. Let’s continue our look at our consensus Top 25 Devy prospects. Meet #24 – A.J. Brown.
Name: A.J. Brown
School: Ole Miss
Weight: 225 lbs
2019 Class: 5
A.J. Brown was one of the prized recruits in the 2016 class. He’s an important part of the Rebels’ talented WR corps. He didn’t put up huge numbers but he played in all 12 games as a true freshman in 2016. He’s a big-bodied target who easily snatches the ball out of the air with strong hands. He’s strong enough and athletic enough to turn any play into a home run.
Brown was drafted by the San Diego Padres in the 2016 MLB Draft. He planned to play for the Padres while at Ole Miss, but he’s yet to accrue any stats.
