Countdown to College Football: #23

Believe it or not, we are only 23 days away from kicking off the 2017 college football season. Summer is winding down. Kids are heading back to school. We are in the final stretch, but the closer we get to August 26th, the longer the days will feel. We might as well do something to pass the time. Let’s continue our look at our consensus Top 25 Devy prospects with #23:

Profile

Name: Trayveon Williams
School: Texas A&M
Position: RB
Height: 5’9″
Weight: 200 lbs
Class: Sophomore

Ranking

Overall: 23
Positional: 11
2019 Class: 4

Trayveon Williams became the first true freshman in Texas A&M history to rush for 1,000 yards. He accomplished that with just a 12-carry a game average. His 217 yards against Tennessee was the most in a game by an Aggies’ true freshman. Williams will split running back duty with Keith Ford again in 2017, but he should see more than 12 carries a game. His 2016 total of 1,057 rushing yards is more likely closer to his floor than his ceiling.

If you’d like a more in-depth profile, you can find that here.

The Play
