Hello DFF members, my name is Chris and this year I will be writing the weekly dynasty waiver adds piece. In this article I will be writing about players that I feel should be owned in much higher quantities in your dynasty leagues. I will try to stick to low ownership percentages, around 30% or less, but if there is a guy above that who I think should be owned significantly more, I will include them as well. I will be focusing on a 12-team, full PPR, Superflex set-up for these articles but the players I am choosing should apply in 10-team leagues as well. Without further ado, let’s get into the waiver adds.
Mike White, QB NYJ – 26.88% Owned
FAAB Recommendation: 50-70%
Mike White should have been picked up right after being named the starter. If he wasn’t then you need to get him, and you need to be aggressive. He has good weapons, a decent line, and a good arm. He can be productive for you this year and maybe play himself into a starting opportunity or a more secure, definitive number-two job than he has now.
Benny Snell and Anthony McFarland, RB PIT
FAAB Recommendation: 8-10%
These guys both showed some juice Monday. But, more importantly, Najee got hurt and did not look good before getting hurt. All three of the Steelers’ backups (Jaylen Warren included) have looked better and performed better than Najee this season. The team might just ease Harris back and turn to these guys to carry the load.
Zonovan Knight, RB NYJ – 3.33% Owned
FAAB Recommendation: 17-20%
Zonovan Knight just went out and showed us why he should’ve been drafted and stashed in every dynasty league. In Michael Carter’s absence, Knight amassed 69 (nice) rush yards on 14 carries (4.9 ypc). To go with 34 yards on three receptions (three targets, 100% catch rate). With this performance, the Jets may be more willing to take Carter’s ankle injury slow and run with Knight for now. Must claim if he’s available.
Justin Jackson, RB DET- 14.6% Owned
FAAB Recommendation: 6-9%
Justin Jackson has been out snapping, and out-touching D’Andre Swift the past couple of weeks. I think the Lions want to heavily manage Swift’s workload to keep him healthy for next season when they are more competitive. Their offense is so productive that in his limited role, Jackson has had some solid production. If Williams or Swift were to get hurt Jackson could see a sizeable role increase on a high-scoring offense.
