Hello DFF members, my name is Chris and this year I will be writing the weekly dynasty waiver adds piece. In this article I will be writing about players that I feel should be owned in much higher quantities in your dynasty leagues. I will try to stick to low ownership percentages, around 30% or less, but if there is a guy above that who I think should be owned significantly more, I will include them as well. I will be focusing on a 12-team, full PPR, Superflex set-up for these articles but the players I am choosing should apply in 10-team leagues as well. Without further ado, let’s get into the waiver adds.
Boston Scott, RB PHI – 27.42% Owned
FAAB Recommendation: 3-5%
Boston Scott is currently not getting much work, but he is the backup on a run-heavy team that scores many points. If something were to happen to Miles Sanders, I think Scott could be in for a lot of touches and a lot of goal-line work. He is a great RB handcuff to stash.
Sam Howell, QB WAS – 17.16% Owned
FAAB Recommendation: 6-8%
Taylor Heinicke is winning football games, but he is not looking very good doing it. I would be pretty surprised if he straight-up lost his job to Howell, but he could get injured. Carson Wentz is currently injured, and Howell is just waiting patiently for a shot. If he ever gets an opportunity, he might not lose the job. In a Superflex league, Howell is a mandatory stash.
Kendall Hinton, WR DEN – >2% Owned
FAAB Recommendation: 7-9%
Kendall Hinton was operating as the team WR2 for the Broncos in Jerry Jeudy’s absence. It seems Jeudy will be out for an extended period so Hinton will have a good opportunity here to try and carve out a role in the offense.
Ben Skowronek, WR LAR – 21.67% Owned
FAAB Recommendation: 13-17%
Ben Skowronek might be owned in your league but I even went through some of mine and saw him available in a couple. With the injury to Cooper Kupp, we should greatly expand his role for the playoff push. Skowronek could be a guy to help you get through byes and injuries. Start him in your flex with confidence.
