Sleeper Series: Tyrod Taylor

After writing my redraft team breakdown series, I decided to start a new series as we approach the 2020 fantasy season. Every week, or probably more often than that, I’m going to bring you one fantasy sleeper representing a massive value in 2020 redraft leagues. All the links to previous articles are at the bottom of the article. In the first article, I detailed my methodology behind this series, so go back and read that piece if you haven’t yet! Now, I want to jump into the first quarterback of my sleeper series, Tyrod Taylor. While Taylor isn’t a great real-life quarterback, I think he could provide fantasy football value, especially in superflex or 2QB leagues. Let’s jump right in!

A Redraft Journey: Melvin Gordon

In April, I started writing a series focusing on one player at a time, called “A Redraft Journey.” Like my “Dead to Me” series, I take a deep dive into a single player, breaking down their entire career in redraft fantasy football. However, unlike that series, this set of articles is meant to be more positively toned. I’m excited to get back to writing it, and I’m returning with a full breakdown of Melvin Gordon. He’s had an exciting roller-coaster ride both in the NFL and for fantasy owners, so let’s jump into it!

Player Profile: RB Danny Woodhead

If you bought low on Danny Woodhead after an injury shortened 2014 and had him stashed on your squad for last season, you definitely reaped the benefits as he finished the season as the number 3 PPR running back. Woodhead is playing this year under his former Offensive Coordinator Ken Wisenhunt. Ultimately, this should be

Player Profile: WR Tyrell Williams

If you have ever researched Fantasy Football, you’ve probably heard the saying, “You can’t win your league early on, but you can lose it.” In most cases, that proves to be true, but fantasy analysts are completely missing the opposite end of spectrum. In the late rounds of your fantasy draft and even in the

Player Profile: WR Travis Benjamin

When you see a rather unknown player break out from the middle of the pack and become a quality contributor, some questions may surface in your head. TE Hunter Henry, San Diego Chargers

The Chargers took Hunter Henry, the former Arkansas Razorback, with the fourth pick in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft. They chose the 6’5″, 250lbs. tight end for a multitude of good reasons. First, the Chargers current star TE, Antonio Gates, is well into the twilight of his career. Second, the organization recently let

LB Joshua Perry, San Diego Chargers

The 2016 NFL Draft was certainly filled with its share of highly recruited, big name athletes, hailing from well-respected programs. On some occasions, a university can get lucky and have a player’s development exceed original expectations. For Ohio State and now the San Diego Chargers, it was former linebacker Joshua Perry who surprised many. To

RB Melvin Gordon, San Diego Chargers

The 2015 rookie running back class, in many ways, was a microcosm of the position as a whole. However, there were a select few, which owners all but knew would perform well (think Todd Gurley and Adrian Peterson). Additionally, there were a few pleasant surprises. Devonte Freeman, Doug Martin, David Johnson and Jeremy Langford, would
