With the college bowl season in full swing and I continue to dig deep into my draft prep, I thought I would take the time to go over some of the potential prospects at the interior defensive line position. This is one of the most crucial but unpraised positions in football. They do the heavy lifting to open things up for the rest of the defense. IDP Devy: Yetur Gross-Matos

Yetur has very good size and length. His length and reach provide for an extended tackle radius, that allows him to routinely make tackles others can’t. These same attributes also allow him to set the edge effectively. He is one of the more athletic prospects in this class and has good handwork, with swipes, swats, and rips. Gross-Matos does a real good job of translating speed to power, along with his high motor, he gets upfield quickly and applies instant pressure.

IDP Stock Market: Week 9 Edition

Three weeks ago starter John Johnson went down with a season-ending injury. The question was who would fill that void? I had a good feeling that Rapp would be that guy, as he had played well in a limited role, so I wanted to see how he would be used in a larger role. In the two weeks since Johnson’s injury, Rapp has registered eighteen tackles, with fourteen being solos.

CB, Logan Ryan, Tennessee TitansOne of the best defensive backs in the league is off to a hot start this season. Ryan’s stock is on the rise, especially in position-specific leagues that require you to start corners. His ability and the Titan’s willingness to use him as a blitzer makes him so much more valuable. Logan already has 2.5 sacks on the season and is on pace to destroy his record of four, that he just set last season.

Rookies are highly coveted in the dynasty community, but their value can be very volatile. In this series each week, we’ll look at their numbers and what impact they have. AFC South Factory Divisional Nuggets: Week 4

This team seems to be alternating between exciting offensive battles like the Week 1 shootout in New Orleans and Week 3’s 27-20 upset win over the Chargers on the road. In the even weeks, they’ve been borderline unwatchable so far, holding off Jacksonville for a 13-12 victory in the final minute in Week 2 and then falling at home to Carolina 16-10 on Sunday. In other words, this is a 2-2 Bill O’Brien coached team that looks like a 2-2 Bill O’Brien coached team.

IDP Stock Market: Week 5 Edition

The ten-year veteran is off to one of his best starts to begin a season in his career. He’s leading the NFL interceptions (4) through the first four games of the season and has one in each game. This is the most he’s had in a season, since 2012, his third year in the league. While this pace won’t continue, I do expect him to continue to be an impact player in pass defense.
