Superman’s season is over and his Kryptonite is the Lisfranc injury, a condition in which the long bones in your foot are displaced. Newton originally suffered the injury during the preseason, but reaggravated it in Week 2 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. There were hopes that he could return initially, but those faded away as his timetable for recovery became more and more uncertain.
Parker has caught 50 yards or a touchdown in each of the last four games. It’s no surprise his targets and production have increased since Ryan Fitzpatrick was named the starter. He’s received 8 targets and is the WR20 in the two games with Fitzpatrick as the starter. Parker has one of the highest average depths of target (aDot) (15.5) among receivers with over 30 targets. He has a higher aDot than Kenny Golladay and Mike Williams. He’s also tied for fifth in average targeted air yards (15.4) among pass catchers. Look for him on your waivers if available. Otherwise, stash him if you got him. It doesn’t appear he will be traded — one of the few pieces the Fins are willing to hang on to.

The Patriots have been in the market for a receiver. Still, the move came as a bit of a shocker, mainly due to the Patriots giving up what most consider precious draft capital. Even if Belichick disagrees. The acquisition makes more sense after learning wide receiver Josh Gordon is being placed on the IR due to two severe bone bruises in his knee. Ian Rapoport reports the team will be moving on, and his time in New England is over. It appears the Patriots were aware of the injury before the trade, making the Sanu addition a virtual necessity.

Josh Allen put on one of his best performances of the season just a week after suffering a concussion against the New England Patriots. He didn’t set the world on fire, but he was more than competent in leading his team to victory. He threw for a season-high 71.88% completion rate and the only two scores for the Bills against the number six passing defense in the league. Allen has also rushed for three touchdowns this season and is averaging 31.6 yards-per-game, down from 52.6 in 2018. That said, his rushing production thrusts him into fantasy relevancy. He was the QB12 in Week 5 and is QB16 on the season after the bye week. Allen is a fringe top 12 quarterback rest of season and has even higher upside based on matchups. He gets the Dolphins in Week 7 and that means you want Josh Allen in your lineup.

In a shocking turn of events, Antonio Brown has agreed to terms with the Patriots. The idea has been tossed around over the last couple of weeks during Brown’s fallout with Oakland as a complete joke.
No one could have actually guessed, or have thought Antonio Brown would be released by the Raiders and sign with New England, but here we are.
Tom Brady passing to Antonio Brown is a reality. Mr. Big Chest brings his talents to Foxboro for at least a year. Adam Schefter reports the Patriots have agreed to a one year deal worth up to $15m that includes $9m signing bonus, another $1m guaranteed and $5m in incentives.

I know it feels like an eternity since we could trust a wide receiver other than Davante Adams to produce fantasy points in Green Bay, but it hasn’t been as long as you may recall. Historically, Aaron Rodgers number two option has been a player you want on your roster. At least two of Rodgers

It has been a while since we’ve witnessed a fantasy running back as polarizing and talented as Joe Mixon. Last I can recall is Demarco Murray, maybe (feel free to offer suggestions, could be a fun discussion topic). Either way, the Joe Mixon takes are HOT. Some believe he can’t crack the top 10 again, and others project him as a candidate to finish the number one fantasy running back. Either one of those things can happen. I mean anything is possible, but what I want to analyze is the notion Mixon can’t be a top-five fantasy running back. This idea has been tossed around the twitter-verse and all over the fantasy community, but there is a strong case he will take the leap this year and elevate his play in 2019. The arrival of former LA Rams QB coach Zac Taylor and the West Coast offense is a major indicator Joe Mixon will be better utilized this year. Taylor played a major role in overseeing and constructing one of the most high powered offenses in the league last year. Sean McVay noted: “he was instrumental our in third-down game-planning.” Placing more emphasis on passing the ball certainly didn’t hurt Todd Gurley’s fantasy production last season. Gurley was the number three fantasy running back with 1,831 total yards and a remarkable 21 touchdowns in 14 games. The Bengals new offensive philosophy will have a dual effect, improving Mixon’s rushing and passing production. A breakdown of each aspect reveals how Joe Mixon and Zac Taylor can take his game to the next level. …………………….

The tight end position has been a turnstile for New England in the short time since Rob Gronkowski retired. The Patriots have been scrambling to find a replacement since he left the NFL. They signed TE Stephen Anderson in January, Matt LaCosse in March, and Austin Seferian-Jenkins in April. Then subsequently they traded Jacob Hollister to Seattle while later signing former Patriot Benjamin Watson in May. If your head isn’t spinning yet, there’s more. Austin Seferian-Jenkins was cut at the beginning of June, and today the Patriots traded a conditional 7th round pick to the Detroit Lions for 2017 fourth round pick Michael Roberts (TE).

With the NFL offseason upon us, it’s the perfect time to review your dynasty team, make roster moves, and approach other owners with trade offers to take your squad to the next level. Sometimes, this process requires an owner to consider giving up proven talent to improve other areas of need or gather assets for the future. Veterans can be difficult to part with, but sometimes the long term gains outweigh the short term losses. With that in mind, let’s analyze candidates who fit in the category of “dynasty WRs and QBs to sell”.Jarvis Landry:Landry finally got paid like a number one receiver, but he sure didn’t perform like one in 2018. He dropped six balls in 14 games started after not registering a single drop before in his career. He was also uncharacteristically inefficient posting 6.6 yards per target, settling at the bottom of league rankings. It’s difficult to be hopeful that his situation will get any better when he had little to no competition for targets, but with Odell Beckham entering the fold, he could be in line for increased efficiency even though he should see a drop in targets.
