In this series, Iāll be analyzing veteran players who are excellent targets for your contending teams based on current Dynasty market value and popular options on FanDuel Sportsbook. Iāll be using KeepTradeCut (KTC) to determine each playerās current market value. This is a crowdsourced Dynasty ranking site, providing us with a great idea of where the community stands. Letās dive right in and allow me to help you by suggesting the players that youād be wise to acquire in Dynasty Fantasy Football right now.

Aaron Jones (RB – MIN) | KTC Rank: RB40 (152nd overall)
Veteran running backs in Dynasty can often be overlooked in favor of shinier new prospects. Still, if you believe in having top twenty production from the running back position, then Aaron Jones is your guy. When healthy, Jones has done nothing but produce, and heās a three-down back who, when playing 15 games or more, has finished no worse than RB15 (Full-PPR). When on the field, heās as automatic as it gets. And with the Vikings entering this season with J.J. McCarthy, who has yet to play an NFL snap in a regular-season game, thereās no reason to think they wonāt rely heavily on the run. Yes, the Vikings also added Jordan Mason as their RB2, but they will rely heavily on the run to take pressure off their young quarterback and set the offense up for McCarthy.
Jones provides you with a solid floor every week because of his receiving skills, which Mason lacks. If you play in a PPR league, Jones is a perfect target. Heās a PPR machine, as from 2019-2024, heās averaged 3.52 receptions per game. Jones is a lock for fifty or more receptions this year, and he plays in an elite offense with an improved offensive line. While there is concern that Jones might not get the heavy share of touches, this backfield shouldnāt be a 50/50 timeshare. Jones is the more talented back and true RB1 on the Vikings. He set career highs in rushing attempts and rushing yards in 2024 while having 10 games where he finished as RB24 (Full-PPR) or better. Also, early in the year, while Jordan Addison is serving his three-game suspension, the Vikings will rely even more heavily on the playmakers available to them, and Jones is one of them. Jones is as reliable as they get, and donāt be scared off by the fact that heāll soon be 31 years old. The production is there, and heās currently valued as the RB40, which is in line with a late 2026 second. Buy him at this price for your contending Dynasty team to give yourself more depth. Jones is criminally underrated, and adding him is a great way to improve your championship roster for a very affordable price.Ā
James Conner (RB – ARI)| KTC Rank: RB27 (118th overall)
James Conner is one of the few running backs who have aged like fine wine, similar to Aaron Jones. Heās been Mr. Reliable finishing as RB20 (Full-PPR) or better in each of the last four seasons, with his best season in 2021 when he was RB5 (Full-PPR). While he might not be the most dynamic player, all he does is produce. This season, he once again enters as the RB1 in Arizona. While the Cardinals do have Trey Benson in the wings for the future, we still have to see Benson produce at the NFL level. For a Cardinals team that looks to be much improved in 2025, they will heavily need to rely on their ground game, and Conner figures to be a big factor in that. Conner is also a true dual threat with his receiving ability and is a major factor in the red zone. The team truly trusts him near the goalline to punch it an easy six.Ā
Every season, Conner gets undervalued, and this year is no different. Conner constantly gets priced in the RB2 range within Dynasty but produces RB1 numbers. He gets workhorse volume with consistency. In 2024, he had 80% of the goal-line rushing usage. Heās shown no signs of slowing down, as he had 1,508 scrimmage yards with 47 catches and was in the top five in breakaway runs and number one in evaded tackles last season. Donāt be scared off by Conner in his age-30 season, as heās a lock in 2025 to finish with safe RB2-type production. He has 1,000 yards and 12 touchdowns in back-to-back seasons, and in 2024, he was second in missed tackles forced per attempt, seventh in receiving yards per game, and sixth in explosive run rate. Currently, Conner is valued as the RB27, which aligns with an early 2026 second-round pick. As a contending team, acquiring Conner is a great way to improve your championship odds for a very reasonable price.Ā
Calvin Ridley (WR – TEN) | KTC Rank: WR43 (114th overall)
When everybody is about to write off Calvin Ridley, here he comes for the 2025 season. Ridley enters 2025 as the clear top passing option for the 2025 first overall pick, Cam Ward. Ridley, now 30 years old, is coming off back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons, and while last year he only had 4 touchdowns, there’s no reason why he wonāt blow past this total in 2025 with consistent quarterback play. Last year, the Titans’ offense held Ridley back as they were 29th in passer rating and 32nd in interception rate. Both of those statistics should be vastly improved as he finally has a formidable quarterback in Tennessee. While the Titans did select WRs during this past draft, none are proven commodities, and Ward should lean heavily on the veteran Ridley to carry the Titans’ pass game. Last season, Ridley finished as the WR28 (Full-PPR), and Iād expect him to improve upon this with ease.Ā
Additionally, in 2024, Ridley had 120 targets, but only 80 were catchable as he finished the year with 64 receptions, 1,017 receiving yards, 15.90 yards per route (8th), 23.7% target share, and a 26.7 air yards per reception (1st). Now, enter Ward with what during training camp has been described as great chemistry with Ridley, we can expect borderline WR1-type production in 2025. Throw in the fact that he also faces a top-five schedule for WRs and the Titans’ defense is poor, Iād expect even more throwing and opportunities for Ridley to provide value. Itās easy to picture a top-20 finish at his position in 2025. This situation with the Titans in 2025 reminds me a lot of last year with the Commanders, when they drafted Jayden Daniels number one overall and finally gave veteran wide receiver Terry McLaurin a quarterback as well. Ridley is a great value as heās the WR43, which aligns with an early 2026 second-round pick. Given Ridley’s upside on a contending Dynasty team, I would have no problem making this type of deal, given the upside that heāll bring every week this upcoming season.Ā
George Kittle (TE – SF)| KTC Rank: TE6 (81st overall)
Out of all my veteran Dynasty buys, I saved my favorite for last! Kittle looks like one of the easiest veteran buys out there, especially at the TE position, where typically itās hard to find production. But Kittle does it at an elite level, and now that heās 31 years old, heās being discounted within the Dynasty community. This is hard to fathom as the 49ers’ wide receiver depth is depleted. Deebo Samuel was traded in the offseason, Brandon Aiyukās latest report has him eyeing a Week 6 return, and Demarcus Robinson is facing a three-game suspension to start the season. That leaves Ricky Pearsall and Jauan Jennings as the main pass-catchers for Brock Purdy to target besides Kittle. Kittle should have an obscene target share to start the year as heās going to come out of the gates hot. Knowing this, now is the time to acquire him, as he could very well be on this way to being the TE1 this season.
Kittle production-wise is as consistent as they come, as every season besides his rookie year in 2017 and when he was hurt in 2020, playing in only eight games, he finished as a top-five tight end, topping out as TE2 (Full-PPR) in 2019. Last year, he finished as TE3 (Full-PPR) at 30 years old. Kittle is showing no signs of slowing down and is a potential league winner this season as heās a cheat code along with Brock Bowers at the TE position. Kittle is an unbelievable value as heās ranked as TE6, but he comes with TE1 production. This TE6 ranking aligns with a late 2026 first-round pick. Given Kittleās monster upside this season as a contending team, I would be doing everything I could to make this type of deal. The upside and consistency heāll bring every week will help push you over the top to winning your Dynasty Fantasy Football league.Ā
Conclusion
