Welcome back to the “Fantasy Stock Up, Stock Down” series (off-season edition). I don’t know if we’ve seen a crazier free agency than the one we are currently witnessing! We as Dynasty Managers need to be evaluating the off-season transactions and thinking about our roster adjustments every day. Who are we going to target in rookie drafts? Who are we going to go out and trade for? Who are we willing to give up in return? Will you go all in this season to bring home a championship? Or should you go young and prepare for the future? There’s so much to think about before September. The “off-season edition” of this series is an early look at whose stock is up and whose stock is down as we head into draft season. We will break down each NFL team one by one. Today is all about the San Francisco 49ers.

At this point, I’ve turned on Russell Wilson as a dynasty asset. He completed 20/32 passes for 225 yards and a touchdown, although he saved his day with a rushing touchdown. However, Wilson is already 32 years old, so fantasy owners cannot rely on high rushing production forever. Wilson hasn’t thrown for more than 300 yards since Week 9, and he has only 10 touchdowns in those seven games.

NFC West: Divisional Nuggets

Deebo Samuel was the only 49ers’ receiving weapon to perform in Week 12. He played the most snaps of any offensive skill player, tied with Richie James for 88% of snaps. On those snaps, Samuel caught 11 of 13 targets for a whopping 133 yards. I loved that the 49ers got Samuel so involved in his first game back from injury, and I now rank Samuel ahead of Aiyuk in dynasty formats. I hope this game is the start of a real breakout.

NFC West: Divisional Nuggets

The Seahawks came into this game with multiple injuries at the running back position. Chris Carson and Carlos Hyde missed the game, Rashaad Penny remained on the PUP list, and Travis Homer had a minor injury. While Homer managed to participate, the Seahawks leaned on rookie DeeJay Dallas in his place. However, the Seahawks still won over the 49ers, 37-27.
