Week 7’s “starts” brought you the QB1, QB11, RB12, WR4, WR18, and TE3. I also helped you to avoid duds from Sam Darnold, Tyler Lockett, and Tyler Boyd. So, let’s focus on that rather than my advice to play Allen Robinson or bench Joe Burrow and D’Ernest Johnson… Anyway, with just two teams on bye this week, we have more fun players to choose from in Week 8. So, I’ve decided to add some “honorable mentions” to the mix this week. State of the Franchise: Seattle Seahawks

The Seahawks have lost four of their last five games after a closely contested overtime loss against the Steelers on SNF. Their fourth loss of the season moves the Seahawks into last place in the toughest division in the NFC. The season goal in Seattle is ‘playoffs or bust’. Multiple significant injuries to the Seahawks offensive core have left the team at the back of the race. There are many games left to play, but the outlook for the Seahawks playoff contention is darkened without two of their offensive leaders.

Chris Carson Returns to Seattle

With Russell Wilson trade rumors swirling around the league, Seattle decided to bring back the starting running back that has lined up next to him the past four seasons. Last week, Chris Carson agreed to a two-year deal worth up to $14.6M, per reports from NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero. The deal also includes a third voidable year that makes the contract cap-friendly.

The Dynasty Wire: Week 10

This week and every week going forward we’ll bring you several recommendations for players you should add to your dynasty rosters. We’ll mainly be targeting lower-owned guys who should be available in all but the deepest leagues. Are we sure the Baltimore Ravens roster more than two receivers? The Ravens seriously lack talent at the receiver position but that leaves Willie Snead, ol’ reliable, to hold it down for the group. He’s received at least seven targets two of the last three games and scored 15+ fantasy points in each of those games. Snead’s two-touchdown game against the Patriots certainly isn’t sustainable but he appears to be the number one option at wide receiver for the time being.
