The Orphan Diaries: @SlizzDigital (Volume 1)

Last season was my first as a Dynasty owner. Previously I had played in re-draft leagues for about ten years, and I got sick of starting over every season and was looking for more of a challenge. I didn’t know anyone who played dynasty at the time so I went on some forums and searched out people seeking to fill dynasty startup leagues. I came across two leagues that I felt comfortable with, 1 was an offensive player only, ppr, tight end premium 12 team league. The other was an IDP, Superflex, PPR 12 team league. This was my first time taking part in an IDP league as well, so there was a bit of a learning curve throughout the first season. Both initial seasons were pretty successful as I finished “in the money” in both. I came in third in the offensive player only league and second in the IDP league.

After the season finished I was pretty busy trying to make my teams more well rounded by buying and selling, moving and shaking and acquiring future draft picks. I completed my first rookie draft in the IDP league and have the rookie draft for the offensive player

After the season finished I was pretty busy trying to make my teams more well rounded by buying and selling, moving and shaking and acquiring future draft picks. I completed my first rookie draft in the IDP league and have the rookie draft for the offensive player only league in a few weeks. I since joined a new IDP league with more of an even scoring system between offensive and defensive players. I completed the startup draft and the rookie draft. Both went well, and I feel pretty confident I drafted a contender. After successfully navigating my first season playing in a dynasty format I am looking for a new challenge…taking over an orphan team.
